Publisher's Summary

Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year. The tourists think it's all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.

Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.

When a spell goes wrong on the night of Samhain for witch Corette Williams, her only hope is the man she loves, Bartholomew Stanhill. But time is running out. As the clock ticks toward midnight on Halloween, they grow closer to the moment when magic will erase him from her mind. Can Stanhill become Corette's Halloween hero?

Remember me, my love.

Great little short story. I would love for it to have been longer but either way it was great. Stanhill and Corette belong together. It was a cute, sweet story.

Interesting

Any additional comments?

An interesting story, as well as all the short stories in the series. It's worth listening because presents a bit more of the daily life of Nocturne Falls. But it's not one of my favorite stories. The narrative is wonderful, as always.

Talk about tugging at the heart strings

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Of course... I gave it 5 stars didn't I, if that doesn't mean I'd recommend it I don't know what does!

Why? Because it' a wonderful addition to the books in the Nocturne Falls universe and I've loved every book in it so far.

What does B. J. Harrison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

B.J. Harrison is the voice of this series, I can't imagine hearing anyone else narrate it.

He has such a lovely clear, smooth voice and the story just seems to flow so beautifully when he reads it. I would try anything he narrates even if it's a genre I don't normally listen to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last scene by the fountain, oh my goodness, I thought I was going to cry, if I hadn't been grocery shopping at the time I might have.

Any additional comments?

This series is designed to be listened to in order. While any of the books would be fabulous on it's own, later books have spoilers for earlier books, so I recommend starting with book 1 - and then listening to the whole series :-)

Nocturne Falls, witches, romance, magic, vampire

Lovely short episode in the expanding fantasy world of Nocturne Falls. Just the right length for a quick read!
B J Harrison continues to do a fantastic job as narrator.

Such fun in a compact story.

Would you listen to The Witch's Halloween Hero again? Why?

Yes, I would listen again and I have. I love these books - they are lighthearted, feel good books.

Any additional comments?

I was really happy to see a formerly, supporting character, Stanhil, get to have a happy ending. I also like that these are not young, idealistic kids in this edition.

What disappointed you about The Witch's Halloween Hero?

I purchased this story and was unable to listen to it. Would very much like a refund or credit on my next Nocturne Falls story.
