Publisher's summary

Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancé rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill - even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day - and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business.

Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding - a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time.

Great story but who's it was longer

Love the book but wish the ending was longer. The storyline has great potential hope she continues with their storyline in the next book I would love to see how she take the new of having to change.

Cute

What other book might you compare Don't Bite the Bridesmaid to and why?

Not quite there but maybe one of Molly Harpers books.

Have you listened to any of Carly Robins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't know I have over 300 audio books. However, I thought the narrator did a good job and I had no issues with it.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I laughed a few times and that is a win.

Any additional comments?

I picked this one up on sale and didn't listen to it for a while. I waited until I had nothing else to read or listen to (because I was afraid it would be stupid) and finally pulled it up. When in the mood for something light, funny and cute this is a good book. Characters were developed enough that you are not rolling your eyes the whole time. It's worth a read and I would pick up the next one in the series; assuming there is a next one at some point.

So disappointed of this audio version!!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The Narrator!!! She made Noah and Charles sound like geeks instead of Alpha males. I really in enjoyed the printed book better.

What did you like best about this story?

I love the story. It's the audio version I do not care for.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator could have done a way way better job in voicing the male characters.

Do you think Don't Bite the Bridesmaid needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, but not if the audio version will have the same narrator.

Any additional comments?

Please re-do this book with a different narrator.

A LIGHT FUN LISTEN IF YOU'RE IN THE MOOD

A very light easygoing listen with a little angst at the end. Not heavy on details.... Alice has always had the hots for her handsome next door neighbour Noah the vampire and Noah has always had the hots for Alice. He needed to get away and quickly so he took a chance and went with her to join the Wedding party on a Cruise but when they had to share a cabin things got tense...... their chemistry sizzled, their attraction grew and all the while her pulse called to him.

There was slight jealousies and angst provided by Brent her ex, a couple of sex scenes, humor, a sweet romance with a little bit of drama at the end but on the whole it was an easy flowing plot. They were a cute couple and there were some amusing family members too. Told from both POV's and the narrator was ok.

Worth a credit? I enjoyed it but I was looking for more so, IMHO, I don't think it's worth a credit if you're looking for a 'meatier' listen.... but definitely a sale purchase.

Entertaining but the narration was irritating.

Would you consider the audio edition of Don't Bite the Bridesmaid to be better than the print version?

I didnt read the print so I cant really answer this one.

What other book might you compare Don't Bite the Bridesmaid to and why?

its on the same track as Molly Harper's books, but just not as good.

What didn’t you like about Carly Robins’s performance?

I'm sorry but the narration was irritating to listen to, I almost turned it of quite a few time, the pitch of her voice just ugh nerve racking.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did laugh despite the narration, which is always good thing in a book. :)

Any additional comments?

I really am on the fence whether or not to continue the series (I'm assuming there will be more). Consider a different narrator.
