Publisher's summary

Sara hates her new boss, Sheik Tariq. He is rude, arrogant, headstrong and argumentative. So, why can't she stop thinking about him? When she started work in the Middle East for The Botros Oil Company, Sara expected her boss to be an elderly Arab. But instead her boss is tall, handsome, gloriously masculine with stunning eyes and a muscular physique. Tariq has never met anyone like her. She has no respect for tradition, she's clumsy, stubborn, unladylike and talks far too much. And she isn't scared of him, in fact she openly challenges him. He finds himself getting frustrated just talking to her. So, why does he feel so attracted to her?

One night they're both working late and inevitably get into another heated argument. Before Sara knows what is happening, she is kissing Tariq, and he is lifting her onto the conference room table. After an unforgettable night of passion they both agree to never let it happen again. But when they discover the result of their unprotected encounter, they must both come to terms with their feelings. Can this explosive couple finally reveal their more caring sides? Or will it all end in disaster..?

Simply perfect!

Leslie North is full of surprises. Her stories never get old and her characters are always freshly bold. The Sheikh's Accidental Pregnancy is romance plain and simple. Relationships are forever evolving. Sara and Tariq's is no exception. There's drama and heat and heart scattered throughout. Ms. North supplied the words that Ms. Stevens brought to life.

Okay

An okay story. There was nothing that really stood out for me. Two people who passionately disliked each other finds themselves redirecting the passion. The result is a baby. The story moves very quickly from there.

I am not a fan of Tanya Stevens narration.

Awful

The story was predictably very lacking, thats to be expected with these kind of books. Sometimes though there is a good one in the mix. This one was sadly not it.
The narration did not help. It was sooo bad. No intonation at all, so monotone. And they didn’t even try with accents (maybe that was a blessing).
Very disappointing.

Whew...MIND BLOWING... MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE

This...out of all of Leslie North's books is by far, MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Talk about steamy and finger curling, biting your lower lip, your toes curving inward as you find a comfortable position as you listen, breathing in and exhaling slowly... so much sexual tension and desire that it is enough to make paint peel from the walls...I found myself inhaling and holding my breath as I listened to this story.
Tariq is just every woman's fantasy...Serious...dark...mysterious...stubborn...I didn't like the fact that he was pointing out all of Sara's flaws but it built on and added to the story and yes, even though Tariq is the way he is, she didn't let it deter from who she really was and it made a wonderful...NO...AMAZING heat of the moment, must have night of passion... He definitely tries to hide his feelings for her, fights them to be exact and she lets him know that she is just not scared of him whatsoever...
YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK...

Tariq and Sara!

Sara is excited about her new job as the assistant to Sheik Amir in the oil company that his family owns as it will give her some field experience as well. She is settling in nicely until she meets his brother Sheik Tariq who is rude and dismissive to her.

Tariq is not sure what his brother was thinking when he hired Sara but what he does know is that he wants her fired however no one seems to agree with him. He doesn’t believe she fits the image he wants for his company.

It is only a matter of time when the sparks of antagonism turn into sparks of a different kind. The only problem is that there one steamy encounter resulted in a pregnancy, but will this bring them together or tear them apart? I was pleased with the flow and tone of the narrator.

not worth the money if free

The narrator has a very monotone voice-hardly any inflection-even if the character is angry. I couldn't listen to it while driving because it put me to sleep - she might want to try bedtime stories for children. I don't know if the author speaks English as a second language but her sentence structure is very repetitive and passive making the story drag on. There is little character development and apparently very little Research into what happens in the industry described. I've never posted a bad review before so I hate to do this but this book really wasn't worth it.

So/So ... Unrealistic romance

What disappointed you about The Sheik's Accidental Pregnancy?

It was unrealistic.

What could Leslie North have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

When writing about a subject, be aware of the social and cultural practices of the region.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Tanya Stevens?

Yes.... she was easy to listen to.

What character would you cut from The Sheik's Accidental Pregnancy?

They were all fine.

Any additional comments?

I bought this book on a whim when it was on sale. This is the only way I would recommend reading this book .... if you have nothing else to listen to!
