Publisher's Summary

The last time I saw my best friend's younger brother, he was a geek wearing braces. But when Cannon shows up to crash in my spare room, I get a swift reality check.

Now 24, he's broad shouldered and masculine, and so sinfully sexy, I want to climb him like the jungle gyms we used to enjoy. At six-foot-something with lean muscles hiding under his T-shirt, a deep sexy voice, and full lips that pull into a smirk when he studies me, he's pure temptation.

Fresh out of a messy breakup, he doesn't want any entanglements. But I can resist, right?

I'm holding strong until the third night of our new arrangement when we get drunk and he confesses his biggest secret of all: he's cursed when it comes to sex. Apparently he's a god in bed, and women instantly fall in love with him.

I'm calling bullshit. In fact, I'm going to prove him wrong, and if I rack up a few much-needed orgasms in the process, all the better.

There's no way I'm going to fall in love with Cannon. But once we start...I realize betting against him may have been the biggest mistake of my life.

"My Thoughts on The Room Mate"

Take a sexy med student and move him in with his sister's very attractive best friend and you've got a recipe for a fantastic read.

Cannon was this great mix of smart, determined, caring and super hot alpha male. I loved it. Paige was something Cannon wasn't used to. A mature woman with her life together. While they both knew the other should be off limits to one another, their roommate status proves to be too much temptation to resist.

I loved the concept of this story, I loved the characters, I loved the narrators, and I loved that it was so easy to lose myself in. Can't wait to read more from this author.

"Such potential... it just wasn't utilized"

I did enjoy the read, though it had some slow spots in it. It has great potential, but I feel like the author focused on the wrong drama. In the beginning the story was setup to bring us some great suspense and drama filled chapters, but what we got was one chapter of crazy ex girlfriend drama and the downer of a stepfathers death. The losses he suffered should have brought him closer to her, making it harder on them both when the sister found out... instead it was just something that happened and then they were too childish to speak to each other for weeks. I just feel like the great story it could have been was lost and we were served a bland shell. It falls in line with the many cookie cutter stories that are rushed out to make a buck.

Good story, great potential, an okay was to spend a few hours.

    "Loved the storyline!!"

I really did like this book! The female narrator was excellent, now the male narrator did not sound like a 24yr old man at all but wasn't bad enough that I couldn't listen past it. So overall well worth the credit!

    "Great listen"

I really enjoyed this listen. I liked the chemistry between the 2 main characters, I liked motivated, strong characters. I loved the realistic characteristics that were so detailed, it humanized the characters expertly.

My hesitation with the book is that the motivations behind the drama or plot, was just too exaggerated that I felt it was much ado about nothing. I can't imagine emotions running that strong about these 2 characters falling in love. I just couldn't believe it.

Ava Erickson and Jeremy York were great narrators. Perfect, actually. Their portrayal of the main characters and secondary characters was spot on. It was easy to tell who was speaking and the different personalities of the different characters.

"Ouch. That was painful. I don't return books...."

But I'd ask for a refund of my time, keep the money. The male narrator drove me nuts. I barely finished.

    "Loved it!"

As always, Kendall Ryan gives us a story that's both sexy and romantic. The heroine agrees to let her best friends younger brother move in with her after he breaks up with a crazy girlfriend. She has known him since he was a tag-along little boy, but now he's a medical student almost ready for his board exams and residency. Add to that the fact that he's now one of the sexiest guys she's ever seen and you have a volatile mix! The narration was excellent and I look forward to what's next!

    "Decent Romance"

Didn't want to judge the book by its title, but the plot was predictable. However, telling the story from two points of view made it decent.

    "Narrators were very good."

The first third of the story was hard to get into and I didn't like the characters and their seining obsession with sex and physical attributes. The exes falling in love and going crazy after one night. Meh.
It did improve enough to engage me. The last 1/3 of the book was actually the best.
    Sorry. Not my favorite.
