Publisher's summary

It all started with a sexy selfie.

Texted to the wrong number.

Oops.

Not my finest moment - but I have nothing to be ashamed of.

She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douchebags she was never dating again.

It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere - on the fiery and sharp-tongued Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening.

The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana.

When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton, in case you're not tracking.

And let’s just say she had my full attention.

Brains? Check.

Beauty? Oh yeah.

And the best part? She hated me on sight.

Dear God, do I love a challenge.

Let the games begin.

Includes a special scene from The Hookup Handbook at the very end read by Jason Clarke!

Quick, Satisfying, and Sexy Fun!

I'm really digging these male POV driven books from Kendall Ryan! It is dual first person POV so we do get the female leads perspective as well, but Junk Mail kicks off with Josh's POV and it set the book up to be funny and current and sexy. Both he and Peyton are very likable characters, as were Peyton's friends and Gram. However, I really had an issue with Josh's friend and business partner Brody and I wish the problem with him had been drawn out a bit more so that it made more sense. I also wish that there had been a bit more included about Josh and Peyton's individual backgrounds - as it is we only really get to know them on a surface level and I would have loved to dive deeper into their characters. Other than that, Junk Mail was just a fun sexy time - I just wanted more! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

Just aight

For such a cute opening, this romcom didn’t wow me. The heroine reminded me of five heroines I’ve read in row who have a hip gramma, everyone around her getting married...yadiya

It didn’t feel like anything. The love scenes and how they happened felt boring and they rarely discussed work but always had time to go on road trips???

It had an interesting start but just an okay finish. The hero I started out liking but how he ghosted her wasn’t cute...

DISAPPOINTED.

The main characters are supposed to be smart adults, but they behave worse than children.

I did enjoy the beginning of the book, but it went downhill fast.

If I had a friend like the male main character does, I would.... heck, I wouldn't have a person who behaved like that towards me be my friend, period.

And then the hero makes a decision that impacts his relationship with they heroine without giving her a heads-up, and ghosts her when she has no clue what's going on, and he thinks this is OK, REALLY??? After this, I just finished it because I couldn't not do it, but it was ruined for me.

Even Joe Arden's wonderful narration didn't make me like the book more.

There are many positive feedback, so don't let my opinion stop you from listening to this book, as you might be with the majority who liked it, but it was just not for me.

It was funny, sexy, and predictable

Spoiler alert!!!
I loved everything but... the obstacle. Towards the end of the book miscommunication was not necessary. Some love stories are not to have an obstacle. I think it was going great. I couldn’t give this a five star as much as I love a lot of Kendall Ryan books. Her books are hot and miss for me. A lot of her books are good and some I close by chapter three. When they went through the miscommunication issue I almost said I give up. I push through and finished the book. The ending was okay. I don’t know why but it was okay. Won’t return it but when read again if I’m bored. Ps. The sex scene was good Joe Arden always delivers. I’m starting to even love Savannah Peachwood. She is awesome.

Meh...

Struggled is putting it mildly. I really wanted to give a flying frog about this book, but nope. It was drivel, pure and simple. This author does some really good work so I was disappointed, to put it nicely
Dont waste time or money on this.

Cute, sweet, funny, instant chemistry

I really enjoyed this book. It was a light hearted read with not much drama. The main obstacle that Josh and Peyton faced was their workplace relationship--should she give up her dreams of her career for the chance to be with him? Fortunately, this story does not make this part as complicated and angsty as other workplace romances I have read. While they had definite chemistry, this book isn't overly steamy. I think what made the book though was Gran and her crazy attitude. Why is it always the crazy grannies that take the cake in some stories?

not for me

I can't say exactly why but I did not finish this book. I really couldn't get into the characters. Normally I can say exactly why I hit the stop button but with this book I'm not sure. Seems like a cute story but not for me.

An unsolicited Dick Pick starts it all!

I swear, I am a huge fan of wrong number and wrong identity romances. There is just something so entertaining about the snarkiness that usually comes with wrong number text conversations and this one took the prize with the text being a dick pick! Peyton was a champ about the mix up, I am pretty sure I never would have warmed up to the guy who sent me an unsolicited dick pick, but this made for a great story and I really loved Peyton and Gram together. I will say that the unnecessary drama that Gram's business partner caused was annoying, but not half as annoying as the way Gram handled it. I am sure that I would have held a grudge to the end after that stupidity, but luckily they got their HEA!

Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood are both great narrators and did an amazing job telling the story. I did feel like Joe Arden and Savannah Peachwood have a different cadence so I have to speed Savannah up a little to have her match Joe, but that is purely a personal preference.

Terrible language and other huge problems

Ok, first problem was the F word every other word. i don't mind some cussing but this was every other word. I didn't get very far before I decided to trade the book back in for a credit- BORING. I already knew the story- same song different verse.. I would have listened anyway if she'd have developed the characters into people I was interested in but It became about the sex & you really didn't know (or care) much about the characters.
