Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Lauren Blakely comes a new stand-alone romance....

Man seeking woman: Hot, rich, smart, witty, self-made multimillionaire Internet genius seeks classy, intelligent, sexy, fun-loving woman who's interested in settling down and sharing all the good things.

There. Best. Ad. Ever.

I will absolutely find the woman of my dreams, someone who'll love me for me. Even if my sister thinks I need help dating, I'm confident I can pull this off, courtesy of the great World Wide Web.

Let me just hit the "upload" button right now....

No. Just no. As a woman and a professional matchmaker, I can't let Dylan Parker run this ad. He's the catch of all catches. That's why his sister has asked me to help her ridiculously good-looking, insanely rich, but socially clueless brother find a woman. As a broker of happily ever afters, I'm known as the Stud Finder since I make a great living pairing wildly successful women with men who won't fleece them but will adore them. After all, what woman in her right mind wouldn't fall in love with Dylan?

I mean, besides me. It totally won't be me.

My Thoughts on Stud Finder

Take a sweet and sexy nerd and a confident funny matchmaker and you have a story I'm excitedly jumping into. Give me funny dialog, great characters that I can connect with and a storyline that is absolutely engaging and you've got me hooked on this book from beginning to end.

This might have been a short story, but it was a great story for me. I loved Dylan and Evie. Their awesome personalities, their fun "learning experiences" with each other. Their wonderful connection. It was all perfect.

The male narrator, Jesse Metcalf, was new to me as a narrator but I hope he intends to keep at it cause I loved his voice. He managed to pull off the thing that usually turns me off a male narrator, he did a female voice pretty well. If I can't have duet narration, I hope that the narrator can pull off their opposite well. Bravo Jesse.

Grace Grant was also a new narrator to me but she did a great job as well. She had the kind of voice that to me is perfect for a nice romantic comedy. She really brought the character to life and I had fun listening to her.

I highly recommend this story and I continue to be happy and impressed by how much I enjoy Lauren Blakely's work.

OMG! Jesse Metcalfe? More Please!!

Dylan is my favorite nerd hottie...or hottie nerd. I loved this story even before it started. I was so hoping Dylan got his story when I met him a few books back in Lauren's non-series series. Evie was perfect! She's a strong, tough as nails independent woman, but you get to see her vulnerability that doesn't diminish her confidence. Their chemistry wasn't that obvious to each other, but it was great seeing how this story weaved through all the hurdles and hiccups. Lauren has the ability to make even the short stories feel like much longer full-length novels. As always, it's great to get caught up with the other couples and friends.

I've missed listening to Grace Grant narrate, and I always love her narration. Now, Jesse Metcalfe was a huge surprise, and I loved him doing Dylan. It was such a perfect pairing, that I think I'll re-read the ebook and hear Jesse's voice again.

Friends Know Best!

Lauren Blakely is an author whom always delivers a fun, feel-good book. I enjoyed listening to this story that highlighted Dylan and Evie. Some characters from other books were mentioned (Max, Mia, etc) as friends and relatives. This story was a short quick listen that was well performed, although I was surprised that Sebastian York did not narrator the male prospective. Both Jesse Metcalfe and Grace Grant did an excellent job conveying the emotions, the humor, the inner musings and the banter. I loved how Evie was manipulated into matching Dylan with someone when her friends all knew she was best for him. This book is definitely worth listening to again. I will continue to listen to more books by this talented author and narrators. I requested a review copy of this audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will never look at a made bed the same after listening to this book. Also, I loved the inventive dates and non-dates that Dylan and Evie had.

Fun, witty, and very enjoyable.

This was a nice, enjoyable quick book that I was able to listen to while doing household chores. The characters were easily likeable and I could relate to them, which made the story that much more enjoyable for me. The Narrators, Jesse Metcalfe and Grace Grant did a splendid job on their reading of this fun book by Lauren Blakely. I am definitely going to be checking out more books by Ms. Blakely.

Awwwwwww!!!

That was so sweet! I finished this book with a silly grin on my face. Dylan and Evie were a perfect match for each other, and I had fun reading their non-date dates.
As for the narrators, it was my first time listening to them and I'll be checking out their works.
Also, can I just say that I started this audiobook somewhat expecting a fairytale vibe because of the Prologue was read, and I got a fairytale ending indeed.

Matchmate in Heaven!!

This is a match mate in heaven! I absolutely love this book. I love the chemistry between Evie and Dylan! I loved how they developed and grew to realize that they were meant to be together. This will hit all the feelers. I was sucked in and didn't want it to end. This was a great match for me to read. Dylan is hot and swoony. Evie is not looking for a relationship and of course can't fall for a client, it's against all the rules! She's got spunk and full of fire. I absolutely love these two characters. They are actually more alike than they think. Their friends knew better and decided to play match maker with the match maker! This is a great 5 star read and a must 1-click today!

This is the first audio book. That I have listen to by these narrators and I feel they did an excellent job and I will be looking for more narrations by them. They truly gave this book another dimension to the story & o love it!

Matchmaker finds a hot nerdy match!

I loved this sweet and sexy forbidden romance! Evie and Dylan are on the same softball team but are only acquaintances. Dylan's sister and Evie's friend, Olivia, approaches Evie to ask her to help Dylan find his soulmate. Evie's business is mainly a matchmaker for women, but she is up for the challenge, and can't say no. As Evie spends time with Dylan trying to learn what he is like, she begins to have feelings for him. Dylan is surprised by his growing attraction to Evie as well. But Evie will not cross that client line. Ms. Blakely masterfully pulls us into this refreshing story with witty banter, slow burn chemistry, and wonderful characters you'll fall in love with.
Grace Grant is a 'new to me' narrator and she was fabulous. I loved her enthusiasm and her smooth transition between characters. I had heard of Jesse Metcalfe as an actor and wasn't sure how he would do as a voice actor. He was able to make me believe his characters and pull me into this Blakely world.
For a quick listen, Stud Finder has everything that I crave in a love story, making it totally satisfying. I loved the ending as well, it has a wonderful twist you don't want to miss!

Fun! Sweet! 5 + stars!

I really liked this book. I am a Lauren Blakely fan, but I have my favorites. And, this one has been added to that list. It's short, but satisfying. Dylan and Evie's story was so fun. No it wasn't full of angst woe. It was just a story about two people you'd love to hang out with realizing they were right for each other. I loved their non-dates and fun conversations.

And the narration on this was perfect. I'm familiar with Grace Grant. So, it was a pleasant surprise to hear her again, since I haven't in a while. But, I wasn't familiar with Jesse Metcalfe. I really enjoyed his narration. This was one that I could listen to again.

Cute Short Story

Any additional comments?

As you may have noticed Lauren Blakely is a secret pleasure of mine and i devour all of her books.

Unfortunately, this one didn't match up to her other fantastic books for me, the story was great but narration wasn't as good as i am used to, her previous narrators have consisted of some great narrators including Andi Arndt, Sebastian York & Zachery Webber, so this new narrator had some big shoes to fill.

So although i would still recommend the story (friends to lovers are a personal favorite of mine) i wouldn't rush out to buy another audio book Narrated by Jesse Metcalfe as he didn't seem to "cut the mustard" for me.

He is however AMAZING to look at, so crickets :o)

What a pair of Narrators!

A professional matchmaker up for the challenge of matching her best friends rich, good looking and not ready to be let loose alone in the dating pool brother on a date.

They don't want him eaten by gold digging sharks, so Evie offers to help, a try not to date him herself.

A novella, but packed full of character, content and all important connection and chemistry between Dylan and Evie.

A standalone, but we meet some familiar faces, which is why I also love checking in on a Lauren Blakely book and getting my fix from some past and maybe future characters.

The narrators did such a wonderful job, I mean Grace is such a dream to listen to. Jesse, having watched him numerous times, I was so excited to listen to him bring a character to life, he didn't disappoint and as you can picture him as the character too, well deary me. Bliss!

Fun and short

STUD FINDER was definitely a fun listen. The concept of a matchmaker falling for her client and the client convincing the matchmaker of this was engaging. Novella audios aren't the easiest of listens to feel satisfied and the barr was high for STUD FINDER to deliver on this.

I liked both the characters in this book. Evie was a typical, focused workaholic, she hadn't given her own love life any time in a while. What ensued took Evie completely unawares. Flynn was also very like-able. All these pluses were exaggerated by the excellent narration of Grace Grant (one of my favourite female narrators) and Jesse Metcalfe (yes, I did say that). Jesse Metcalfe was absolutely superb and I vote he does more audio narration!

What lacked for me in this novella was more depth of story. It was over quickly and I felt like not a lot had happened to lead the couple to where they ended up. I wanted to know more about them as characters and about them together. The chemistry was strong but I was ultimately left wanting more.

This audio novella will work perfectly for that complete quick listen for a road trip or a flight, it isn't taxing and its fun.

A copy of this audiobook was provided by the author in return for a honest review.
