While enjoyable, I didn't like this shortie as much as I did the last story by Bloom that I listened too. There were parts of the plot that were missing. Or that could have been explained more. Plus some minor things were mentioned in the blurb that didn't really come out in the story. I know that with a short story there is a limited amount of words that can be used but the things that were missing in this would have only added a couple of more pages to the story.
The way that the story is listed on Amazon is a bit misleading. "Shifter Romance: The Guardian's Passion (a BBW Bear Shifter Romance) (Shapeshifter Body Guard Paranormal Romance)". #1 Never once was Felicia's size mentioned so how is this story BBW? #2 There is no "body guard" in this story.
I found the narration a bit weird. The narrator chose to add sounds like growls and sighs but they sounded off. Her pace was pretty good though. I'm not sure how much experience she's had but I bet as time goes on she'll learn to be a great narrator.

not really worth your time
it was so short and had so little thrills, that your quite happy once its over. it is more like a quick summary of what could have been a phenomenon story if the characters where more developed, and the plot has more history included on all sides.
