Touching, endearing, nerve-wracking
What did you like best about this story?
I loved how Hetty & Carl's relationship deepened & evolved. I love that Carl was plain - at first - to Hetty, but she soon realized he was so much more.
Have you listened to any of Julia Gibson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have never listened to Julia Gibson's performances. She is my new favorite narrator!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Hetty & Carl's similar Christmas gifts for one another. Also Andy's response to Grace's secret.

The author did a wonderful job weaving the histories and the personalities of the characters into a great storyline. And the narrator!! I “read” on Audible and the narrator ratcheted the story up even more with her skill. Highly recommend.
