Publisher's Summary

From Manhattan society to the trenches of war-ravaged France, Mirror Image moves elegantly and dramatically through a rich and troubled era. With startling insight, Danielle Steel explores women's choices: between home and adventure, between the love for family and the passion for a cause, between sacrifice and desire. But at the heart of Mirror Image is a fascinating, realistic portrait of identical twins, two vastly different sisters who lead their lives and follow their destinies against a vivid backdrop of a world at war.

slow and same words again and again

The author repeats the same things plenty of time. The first half is too slow, the end is much better.

Danielle Steel, you out did yourself.

So at fiest, I didn't know how this was going to go. I always wanted Olivia to have Charles but I had no idea this Story would twist & turn as it did.

The ending left me in Total Crocodile Tears. I am done. So sad & napping endings. Wow.

great listen

great story! I have seen several Danielle steel movies based off the books and have been reading some lately this story was great. the beginning takes a little bit to get going but once it does I didn't want to stop listening, also being an identical twins myself it was a great read!!

Mirror Images is a Marvel

Steele does a superb job of blending fiction with historical events that creates a web, holding the reader's attention as the story unwinds. Filled with a range of human emotional, embeded in vivid settings...I highly recommend this novel. The only ripple is in the reading...the reader lacked expression and tended to read it very monotone.

Typical Steel

Nice easy listening, a little repetitive and predictive but fine for doing the housework. Hasn't made me want to hear others

Delightful

Really enjoyed listening listening to this book, Victoria really knew how to twist her elder sister round her little finger using the fact they were identical twins,
