Publisher's Summary

"Driver" is an ex-con trying to make his life right but who shares an expensive secret and a past affair with his boss' wife - a woman who is nothing but trouble.

Dickey's rich characters make listeners feel as if they are present in the hustle-filled pool hall, the bedroom, and the Lincoln Town Car in which "Driver" chauffeurs his wealthy and notorious clients around. And Dickey's millions of fans will be happy to see the reappearance of a femme fatale from Thieves' Paradise, who adds spice and surprises every time she turns up.

Drive Me Crazy (Unabridged)

This audio was very suspenseful and unlike other of Dickey's books, it had a story line with good sensuality in it and not sex as the basic story.

What would have made Drive Me Crazy better?

OMG!!!! Normally I love EJD books but I had to make myself listen to HALF this book before I just quit!!! It was too slow and boring for my tastes...

Exceptional Novel and Orator

I absolutely love this book! The main character, Driver , gives life to the story and is an example of how the struggles of being an African American man in lower income society brings more than enough challenges for one lifetime. But he stays strong and endures it all!! I definitely recommend this book!

Great book

Would you consider the audio edition of Drive Me Crazy to be better than the print version?

I have not had the chance to read the book yet. The reason I got into audio books is because I cant stop and read but I can listen and work.

What other book might you compare Drive Me Crazy to and why?

I am not sure that I could compare this to any other book. This book shows how truly crazy some ppl can be when love does not go their way.

Which scene was your favorite?

All where great.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It keep me interested all threw the book.

Okay, nothing to brag about

This book is okay. I did not enjoy it like I thought I would. I don't think it is a must read. I found it quite boring and did not look forward to picking it back up in between reading.
