It was a hot summer day when I met him on the construction site next to my parents' house. Under the sweat and dirt, Manning Sutter was as handsome as the sun was bright. He was older, darker, experienced. I wore a smiley-face t-shirt and had never even been kissed. I was too young, he said. I would wait. But I'd learn that no matter what you achieve in life, it means nothing if you suffer the heartbreak that comes with falling for someone you can never have. Because even though I saw Manning first, that didn't matter. My older sister saw him next.
Sadie Hunt isn't perfect - but her husband is. Nathan Hunt has her coffee waiting every morning. He holds her hand until the last second. He worships the Manhattan sidewalk she walks on. Until one day, he just...stops. And Sadie finds herself in the last place she ever expected to be: lonely in her marriage. When rugged and sexy Finn Cohen moves into the apartment across the hall, he and Sadie share an immediate spark. Finn reveals dreams for a different life. Sadie wants to save her marriage. Their secrets should keep them apart, not ignite a blistering affair.
Single dad Andrew Beckwith has already devoted his life to one girl - and as far as he's concerned, she's all he needs. The inked, rough-around-the-edges bad boy left his reckless ways behind six years ago when his daughter Bell was born. When Bell's mother walked out of their lives, Andrew vowed never to let another woman close enough to hurt them again. But when sharp-tongued Amelia and stubborn Andrew cross paths, sparks fly - and burn. After all, it's not as if opposites ever attract.
I'm getting really good at cutting my losses. First, the husband. Divorcing him was the best decision I ever made. But between single-parenting and job-hunting, I can't catch my breath. When a celebrity blogging position falls into my lap, I'm determined to succeed. That is, until I get my first assignment and actually see Noah Frazier for the first time...practically naked and dripping wet. My heart races and I forget how to form complete sentences. His chiseled abs, irresistible smirk, and crystal blue eyes are too perfect to be real. So, what do I do? Get drunk and humiliate myself, of course.

They were together for years - before he broke her heart. Through it all and across the miles, she and I casually stayed in touch. When my job sent me to Boston for a three-month contract position, Amber let me stay in her spare room.

When Rex meets his new neighbor, he knows he's in trouble. She's gorgeous and sweet and everything he can't trust. Until she becomes the one thing he can't resist.

She's the tutor I hired to teach me Italian. She's way too young for me, but she's also gorgeous, bright, and filled with a curiosity about life that I find incredibly refreshing. It's f--king adorable. I’m old enough to know better, but this pretty, young thing tempts me beyond belief. And for the first time in my life, I can see myself falling. But is our attraction enough to get us through the complications of a massive age gap and an international love affair? Only one way to find out....
I'm one puff piece away from tearing up my journalism degree and hurling my laptop into the Hudson River. So when I smell a juicy story brewing at my brother's Wall Street investment firm, I'll do whatever it takes to get my scoop. One clever disguise later, I'm deep undercover as the firm's newest broker, simultaneously gathering intel and spouting off stock tips like a boss. Go me, right? Sure, it sounds good on paper, but there's a catch: the actual boss. Chief Executive Panty-melter Jack Holt is cocky. Infuriating. And one smoldering look has me ready to violate every rule in the employee handbook. Thank God my assignment has an expiration date. Because falling for my brother's best friend and business partner is a lose-lose proposition. Right?
Jake McKallister might have been a rock star, but he was no ordinary one. Surviving an unspeakable crime as a young teen had shaped him into a guarded workaholic, and he now lived his life trying to forget. If it hadn't been for music and the redemption he found through it, he might not have survived. Career success came easily for him. Personal connections did not.
I'm not a one-night stand kind of woman. I'm especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh. However, that's exactly where I find myself. What's a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can.
I couldn't have scripted a more perfect night. For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I'm not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine - multimillionaire. But who's counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I've ever met. And that's why I'm eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge...bank account. Everything's coming up aces. Until the next day, when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash - a lot complicated.)
Catherine Barrington is a rich girl. Chris Cartwright is a poor boy. He left her to make something of himself. A man she could be proud of. A man she could bring home to her parents. A man she could marry. On the trading floor he became the man he knew he could be. Now, it’s time to return.
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
Come Together is the third and final installment of The Cityscape Series after Come Undone and Come Alive.
With a single decision, Olivia Germaine's fantasy has become a reality. Now she is faced with two commitments: one she must make and one she must break. But in order to accept a love she never thought possible, Olivia will have to let go of the broken past that defines her - and of deeply-rooted fears that could ruin everything.
Everything is what David Dylan wants to give her, and it's what he wants in return. He must prove to Olivia that despite his playboy ways, he's worth leaving behind the stable future her husband can offer her. David is a man who always gets what he wants...but this time, he may be fighting for something unattainable.
Can Olivia escape the past that threatens to consume her? And can David break through to her before it does?
I really enjoyed this series until the final installment. The story dragged out longer than it needed. The characters seemed much more immature from the previous two books. I found myself resenting Olivia and her constant back-and-forth. The only redeeming quality of this book was Andi Arndt and her superb narration.

better late than never. I'm not sure how i missed this series by Jessica Hawkins but I'm very glad i finally discovered it! Awesome series and, of course, Andi Arndt! Need I say more? She was totally fabulous, as always!
Olivia has to be the most whiny character I’ve ever read in a book. I was expecting a better finish to this story. We could have had less turmoil for the main characters. I just can’t get over how whiny Olivia was.
David and Olivia are finally together! But not without having a world of obstacles to overcome. This love triangle has been one to follow! Olivia & David's love story is so raw and so relatable. And David on my gosh he is very woman's dream ! This story can happen to anyone it's life & it happens.
I can not say enough about the way Andi Arndt brings this book. All the voices she uses seem to bring this book/ series to life. She does an excellent alpha voice to top the narration off.
This is the second series I have listed to that Andi has narrated & I don't see how anyone can compare to her.
Jessica my gosh!!! I started reading your books not reading this series first. Man on man you were right when you told me you thought I'd enjoy this!!!! But there was never any doubt that in my mind I wouldn't, I just didn't realize how much I would love it. You never seem to disappoint. I've said it before you're an amazing author!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I believe there's only one book left of yours that I haven't read so guess it's next ☺☺
( Strickly Off Limits )
excellent story. I didn't want it to end. Jessica tells an amazing story. Not many books make me tear up but this one did. Andi as usual did an excellent job.
Where does Come Together rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
top 10
What did you like best about this story?
i mean there was a lot of sex ( which is always good) however i loved the LOVE story behind it, that she was willing to give up anything for david, it just goes to show how powerful love really is, because of this i could definitely relate.
What about Andi Arndt’s performance did you like?
OMG I LOVE ANDI ARNDT!!!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When she broke down and knew she wasn't able to live w/o david and finally expressed it to him.
Any additional comments?
i believe this series was a little dragged out, however when the end result finally came out it was totally worth it. People these days don't know what "REAL" love feels like and this is a prime example of it. when u know ur over the moon love in with someone you know, its magical.
3 days it took me. I couldn't put this series down. Dreamed of it when I finally was able to close my eyes each night. The characters were so so so so - I can't even find the word. It's, loving, tender, heart wrenching. So much love and understanding - so much torn heartbreak! What an ending! Thank you for this series-;)
Like it very much the main girl character was a bit of a Drama queen.
Would you listen to Come Together again? Why?
Yes and I do! I listen to the whole series regularly. Something about it is so intriguing and flawed and sexy and utterly perfect - words can't describe it.
What did you like best about this story?
Jessica Hawkin's brilliant mind and ability to weave a story so flawlessly!
Which scene was your favorite?
ALL of it!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Following your heart isn't always the easiest thing to do.
Any additional comments?
Read everything ever written by Jessica Hawkins - you'll forever love her. She's brilliant.
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Loved this series and this was a great ending to it- staying true to each of the characters. Thought provoking, entertaining, eye opening, great sex and ultimately one hell of a series.
Would love to get Gretchen and Brian's story.
What about Andi Arndt’s performance did you like?
True to character and played all the emotions perfectly
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
One glance. One chance encounter. One life changing whirlwind.
Wow, the three books that make up this story are all brilliant and this last one is so well written. The narrator is brilliant and I will certainly buy more from this author
Great story but I got so frustrated with Olivia and it was duck a disappointing ending.
