Publisher's summary

A childhood accident left Emmaline vulnerable to disturbing fugue states that last minutes but feel like an eternity. The blackouts are unsettling but manageable... until she meets Johnny Dellasandro.

The painter gained fame in the '70s for his debauched lifestyle and raunchy art films. His naked body achieved cult status, especially in Emm's mind - she's obsessed with the man, who's grown even sexier with age. Today he shuns the spotlight and Emm... until she falls into a fugue on his doorstep.

In that moment, she's transported back 30 years, crashing a party at Johnny's place. The night is a blur of flesh and heat that lingers long after she's woken to the present.

It happens again and again, each time-slip a mind-blowing orgy, and soon Emm can't stop, though every episode leaves her weaker. She's scared by what's happening, but she's even more terrified of losing this portal to the Johnny she wants so badly. The one who wants her and takes her - every chance he gets.

A different Megan Hart

This one was different. I like Megan Hart because she goes to places that are just "out there", like having a husband who is paralyzed or some other situation that does not at all seem erotic but is. But usually they aren't "out there" like this. It was good anyway, just a bit harder to buy into than the others.

Not Typical Megan Hart-A Bit Out ofThe Norm-Not4Me

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I do not care for the 'time space' continual.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Make it all in the here and now

Which character – as performed by Lily Bask – was your favorite?

Johnny-her portrayal of his East Coast accent is spot on - from this native of New England!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No

Any additional comments?

This will be a good listen for those who like things a bit out of the norm. I only bought it because it was Megan Hart and I love almost everything by her except 'Deeper' which is similar-time travel.

Strong language and sexual content

Different But Interesting

I liked this book, was not sure how this book was going to end. Happy ending and unexpected. Remember some of these characters and coffee shop for her future book, I always love seeing how she intertwines the characters from other stories. It makes me want to go back and reread the past stories to find the old characters. lol

You can depend on Megan Hart for a great read

What did you like about this audiobook?

I'm always a sucker for a good love story.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Johnny was my favorite character because you could actually feel his need for EMM and there where things he knew, he maintained restraint.

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

I enjoyed her performance. The way she said Johnny or EMM, you could hear the desperation. I've already look for her other reads

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

A love that's worth waiting for

Do you have any additional comments?

I did not want it to end. As usual, there are things about all of her characters you want to explore further

So glad I Collided with this story

Megan Hart has done it again. I love the way she weaves a story with mystery, suspense and a little spice... well a whole lot of spice. I could not stop listening to this one; I have been on an all-day listening fest.

Ohhhhh Johhny **Spoiler Alert*****

****SPOILER****
I loved this book (I have two favorite Megan Hart books Collide and Naked). This book is full of everything: romance, humor (extremely funny), and a tear jerker. I loved almost everything about this book however; there are a few things….. hmmmm…………. that were never asked/clarified by Emm and confusing to me. 1. She never asked Johnny how he knew her name or her cell phone number. 2. Emm never told Johnny about her dreams in detail but in the end he knew what was wrong with her. I demand a part two.

Pretty decent overall

This book kept me entertained throughout the reading, and it was interesting. My main beef is using Lily Bask as a narrator. I know nothing about her, except that she sounds like a woman in her fifties which was very disconcerting when the character is 31. It made it hard to get into the story, the primness of her voice made it slightly more boring than the writing actually would have been if I had read the book myself and less fresh than if they had gone with a more youthful voice.
