Modern psychological care

It helped me a lot. It recommended medication and mantras which was a big help. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is indeed one of the cornerstones of modern psychological care.

Practical explanation

Cognitive-behavioral therapy is a proven, effective form of psychotherapy that is often the first line of treatment recommended for managing depression, anxiety, worry, and other common issues. Other practical explanations of effective CBT principles include behavioral activation and overcoming procrastination, as well as guidelines for creating goals and underlining strategies to help yourself achieve them.

Good listen

I like the way this book is clear and concise and to the point. I also appreciated the section on core beliefs as that is important and not always talked about. This book is a great resource to be able to get through tough issues.

I love it, and I learned a lot.

I love the content of this book. It was very eye opening.
I liked the reader, but it sounded like it was in slow motion. Like she read too fast, and they had to slow down the speed.

This is a great book!

This is a great book! Finally, an explanation for why I tend to go back to habits of dealing with emotions that I learned in my early adolescence, and why those tendencies really never go away. Highly recommend this book.

Purchased for me and later for a relative. Do the work and you'll probably see results. It can be difficult to find CBT practitioners in many places, and this book is a nice way to get started at least.

Attention-grabbing

I tend to put books down that don't grab my interest but I refuse to do the same for this one. This book does a great job explaining how CBT principles apply to common problems of life. Definitely a must-buy!
