Immensely Practical Help for Helping

The best parts were the practical, example questions and dialogues given to help the reader put into practice the things being discussed, & the scripture references. Upon reflection, this book isn't so revolutionary as it is refreshing, but it seems remarkably new while reading it because of the simplicity and clarity with which it addresses complex, difficult situations.

Content great! Needs more illustrations.

Biblical counselors have a great grasp of the Bible and its truths. However, typically, they don't put much effort on driving them home with powerful stories and illustrations. Fifty more stories/illustrations would have helped the reader through this fantastic content.

So practically helpful.

As someone who desires to help others but is at a loss for words, I was especially helped by suggestions of specific things to say & not to say in particular situations in order to build others up in love.

More inaudible product from audible

Any additional comments?

Last time I ever try to waste my money on audible, wouldn't know if the book is any good as I couldn't hear it. Perhaps they should rename themselves: INAUDIBLE
