Great narration to one of the greatest books ever

What other book might you compare Ecclesiastes to and why?

The Lessons of History, by Will Durant is good.

What about Michael Bernstein’s performance did you like?

I have a few great books that are compromised by a poor narrator. And I have a few mediocre books that are life up by a great narrator. Almost never do I find a great audio book with a great narrator.

Any additional comments?

Very soothing voice. One can contemplate all the different facets of life while the word is being spoken. Very enjoyable and serene.

King James Version's "vanity" turns to "futility"

This work has launched me into a new realms of Bible translations. I'm a total novice in such things, but the tone here (dovetailing well with the narration) is calm and unpretentious. I like this version a lot. And the price is right! Hmm -- dare I purchase the full Bible from this source? This is an attractive invitation to do so.
