Publisher's summary

First there was a conversation. It developed into a friendship. And now we stand on the threshold of spiritual oneness...of Communion with God. Neale Donald Walsch, along with Edward Asner and Ellen Burstyn, reads the latest in the life-altering series that began with Conversations with God.

You have learned to talk to God, to have a conversation. You have been given strength, hope, and love in your friendship with God, and you have returned it, for faith is a two-way street. Now God reaches out again...offering you wholeness...communion. Now you will know the God who believes in you. You have come here to learn, through your own experience, that God resides within you. You have come to have a meeting with the Creator - a Creator who is within you and all around you. And in order to do so, you must look beyond the Ten Illusions of Humans. When you recognize these illusions, you can change the way you think. When you accept that they are only illusions, you can change what you believe. And when you live without them, you can change the world.

Beyond the mind of many

Neale deals with the difficult subject of our relationship with God in a somewhat unusual manner.
What he has written is absolutely true but most people will simply not understand either the underlying truth or the authors humble approach. His insight into why mankind cannot find peace with either himself or God is telling, but certainly no more so than the difficulty some readers experience in dealing with the material or Neal's method of presentation.
If you seek wisdom beyond "the book", to understand that we are all equal and as one with God then listen and love God with your life. If you seek to re-enforced what you already know you aren't ready for Neale.

Amazing!

These books speak the truth that I see mingled in every spritual practice on earth. When I just stop and listen I see that they are all trying to reach me with different words... and the same message. Walsch's form of the message is not for everyone. That is exactly as it should be. His message was for me. Thank you Neale.

Enlightening

If you're in the path towards enlightenment--already tired of suffering, lack and problems, this book brings peace, peace of mind, peace in the body, peace.

This book is good energy, you can feel your energy lift, the heart feels lighter, life becomes an adventure (okay, results will vary from person to person) but it's done wonders for me and my family, yes, just by listening to it.

Established religion left questions

I have been searching for answers to questions all of my life. I grew up as the daughter of a Baptist pastor who didn't see things the way that others did. Neale's writing has helped me understand why I felt differently from others. People have always told my family that they believed that I had been here before. And there are other answers that were given during these conversations that hold personal truths in my life. I understand that others have other beliefs, but you have to search out what is best for your and your life. Either way, even in my typical christian/baptist upbringing, I was told that people are entitled to their own opinions, and others are not in a position to judge them right or wrong. I thank the creator for Neale and for each and every person who agrees or disagrees with his positions.

WOW I can'tput into words what the book offers

I listened to it, now I'm going to read it with a pen and paper nearby. This is the 5th NEALE DONALD WALSCH book I've read. I find myself returning to them for the wisdom they have. This book answered SO MANY ISSUES I HAD, ( I can say HAD now,) that alone is a Blessing. JUST GET IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT. JJ

Will soothe your soul.

I've listened to all of Neale Donald Walsch's books on audio, and have to admit, this one basically says what the others are saying, but I still enjoy listening to it. I listen to it on days when I feel stressed or down.. It helps to lift my spirits. I very much enjoy Edward Asner and Ellen Burstyn narrating "God"... If you are a die hard Christian, you probably won't enjoy any of Mr. Walsch's books, but if you are a spiritual person living outside the box, able to consider more options than offered by main stream religions, I think you'll really enjoy this, and all, of Neal's Conversations with God.

Bad Background Music

The book was full of good material but I could have seriously done without the background music. It was of bad quality and overpowered the speaker at times. Also, there are three people reading, sometimes all three at a time. I guess for effect but all it really does is take from the book. Good content, not a good audiobook. I looked at a few of Neal's other books that were on my wish list and they are the same way. I might buy the books and read them, but I will not be buying anymore in the audio format. Sorry Neal.

Utterly useless

Why this book was listed under Christianity is beyond me!

This book robbed a perfectly good forest of a tree and the author is breathing a usefull persons air.

If you are foolish enough to believe that there is no wrong or right and that if it feels good it must be good, then this book is just what you need to remain completly lost and ignorant of the truth.
If you are looking for something to inspire or strengthen your walk with God, look somewhere else. (and by the way the site forced me to give it one star so that I could post this review.)
