Very Different
Can't wait to see what follows in the next book. Treachery abounds in the first book, expecting more of the same in the next, but this time we will get to know her father's people, who sound even more devious than her mother's folks.

Excellent first book in a fun, new series!
I decided to listen to this series when Audible released book 4….and I am so glad I did! If you enjoy fun characters in multi book storytelling format, you will enjoy this series. This is my first T.A. White book and I will definitely be reading/listening to the entire series.

One of the best written stories in its genre.
Narration was well match to the characters.
Setting was well developed from a new planet to the space vessels. The fight scenes showed variety, ingenuity, and creativity. The plots and sub plots were numerous.
Needless to say I’m looking forward to book 2.

Great adventure with a side of sarcasm.
After listening to the Broken Lands series, I was excited to see that Audible had another series by T.A White available. I enjoyed this book just as much and can’t wait for the next book, which I already downloaded. Kira is a kick ass character, there is much sarcasm in this one. I also enjoyed all the side characters and can’t wait to see what is next in store for them all. Narrator was perfect for the character, but I will admit that she is a bit on the slow side, and it took a bit for her to catch my attention.
