Great narration, super sexy story!

This was a great read! if you haven't read Sam Hall before, be prepared for smut on top of smut with a plot woven in. I would have very much liked more of an ending without the unanswered questions lingering about the rest of the pack, but still a really great paranormal romance!

Tried because it was free.. LOVED it!

These narrators are amazing! I had never listened to a book with either of them, so I was hesitant. but they absolutely killed it! This book was so spicy, but had a great story line. Step-brother alpha wolves going after their step sister that happens to be their fated mate. She has a very rough upbringing with a dad who was trying to sell her first heat. But these brothers are determined to keep her safe. They have lots of ups and downs, but get their HEA. Give it a read, it's a stand-alone so NO cliffhanger!

A must listen too…but not around the kids lol

I really enjoyed the story and listening to both a female and male narrator. I would definitely recommend to someone who likes a little bit of fantasty and a whole bunch of sexy romance. Just don’t listen to it around your kids ;)

My first werewolf series

And i truly enjoyed it ! Yesss it’s ALOT of spice but i enjoyed it ! The storyline was also good to me and i enjoyed the characters a lot ! I tried the first book for free but will be buying the second one!!

Emotional roller coaster

To get my criticism out of the way first,... Where the heck are the trigger warnings for the audible book??!!! I mean, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse, drug usage, kidnapping, graphic car accident with death, r!pe, attempted r!pe, depression, mental health issues... Yeah, emotional barely covers it and I cried more than once.
BUT, having said that, this book will either keep you hanging on or deleting it from your queue before you get to chapter 5. Most of the time I was struggling to decide if I was mad, disgusted, despairing for Charlie or turned on.
The narrators did a fantastic job. They didn't overact or go monotone. They are probably what kept me engaged for the whole book.

Great story line

Love the dual narration. Spice is great with great story line. Looking forward to hear more from this author

wow!.....wow!!!

the whole first half my heart was pounding i didn't know whether it was ok or not... but I liked it. I stayed up almost all night listening. the suspense the humor! I can't get enough of it!

loved this book. Details in the story drew me in. so I could visually picture the story.

Great Story

Listened to this story at the beginning of the year and loved it. I couldn't remember the name of the book I went through all of my Listened History and finely found it. I was so excited. Had to listen right away. Recommend this book to everyone. There is alot os spice in this book. Love the ending.

Good guilty pleasure read w tons of spice

TLDR: The story overall was entertaining. The first part of it is mostly smut and I was really glad that the second part is them grown up. I hate Lock and Adam is my favorite character. I’ll probably keep this in my library.

For the long part: I write my reviews as I listen, so I’m just going to share my notes that I took in real time. (No spoilers ofc :)):

Chapters 1-26 are just non stop boinking and I am SO here for it tbh. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at first- reverse harem bully romance. I usually like those but without the insight into the mind of the guys (male POVs come in the second part), it was hard to root for the romance- they were just mean and sadistic and forceful. I had also felt that the male narrator sounded much too old, but I think he did a great job, though I wasn’t CRAZY about how he voiced Archer. I was overjoyed when I realized this was a duet narration, as so many books lately have been dual and I hate it.
Now I will say there was at least twice within those first chapters where my jaw was on the floor. Mind you, I was listening to this at work when I first started. I had to just walk out of the room I was in and run to bathroom to get my composure because holy shit! “what the hell is going on?” Is what I’ll say and if you read this review and decide to listen, hopeful you’ll remember and cackle because that part was actually insane.

You do get male POV in the second part. I think the author is doing a good job at navigating how reconciliation could be approached. Often times it happens way too fast and smooth, and while this was kind of fast, the way they navigated made sense- she doesn’t just forgive all of them at once so no worries there. My first time having actual shifting in an omega verse story (I’m very new to this world lol). Compared with other ABO works, it seems generally consistent with the universe, I just HATED the bullying concept in the beginning because I’ve been so used to alphas connected to the FMC being undyingly sweet and devoted that this was a culture shock LOL but we got through it.

Did Lockwood not learn a single thing about accountability in those six years? I actually hate him. I’m SICK of Lock. I don’t want any more of his POVs. I recognize the author is trying to redeem Lock by getting us to understand his pain more, but he’s irredeemable to me. All this time and he’s the same person. So, in the end Lock got his redemption and it was all sweet and everything. I just hate him is all.

I think the spice was awesome, it was very much an, “oh no, some plot got into my smut” kind of read and I actually loved it.
