Publisher's Summary

Book Two in the USA Today best-selling Off the Subject series

While fashion design major Caroline Hunter may have been born economically unlucky, in college, she's been lucky in love. Until her senior year at Southern University. She's gone from a serious long term boyfriend to a string of crappy dates.

Then she meets mathematics grad student Reed Pendergraft.

Reed is everything she's not looking for. Serious. Headed for a low paying university job. Boring. Caroline spent the first 18 years of her life wondering where her next meal was coming from. She sure wasn't getting trapped in that life again with a man living on a professor's salary.

An encounter with Reed in a club proves she might have pegged him wrong. He brings out a lusty side she never knew she had. But just when she's about to give in to her hormones, Reed makes a fool out of her.

When she shows up for the first committee meeting for Southern University's Fall fashion show, a fundraiser for underprivileged kids, Caroline's horrified to discover the insufferable Reed is the committee chairman. While she refuses to tolerate his totalitarian rule of the committee, she's not sure she'll survive the month with her heart - and her pride - intact. Just when she thinks she has everything figured out, she finds that her entire life has been redesigned, thanks to Reed Pendergraft.

I am quitting with 5 hrs more to go because I cant stand the narrator and her accent.

Too bad because I really like the story so far.

Great sorry, poor production oversight

This is a fantastic story and Denise Grover Swank is one of my new favorite authors but who ever overseen the production missed multiple errors in the recording of this book. There are multiple preheated words and statements.

cute storyline

storyline is good. I like that there is a bit of a twist. the editing of the audiobook is not what it should be. the narrator has a good voice and I like the accent it does feel like she's just reading through it at times

Be Careful Who You Snub.....

Old Caroline looked down her nose at Reed at first meeting.... Then she cant get him off her mind to the point of it getting physical then it is on then.... She kept harping on his future profession and how much his salary will be like they would be in the trailer park with her mom and sister and hers was not looking too promising where she stood. I did like the story and at times I thought she was kind of crazy in how far she took her worries but I enjoyed the book...

well written and entertaining story

If you could sum up Redesigned in three words, what would they be?

fun, sexy, frustrating

Who was your favorite character and why?

Obviously I love Reed. He's hot and sexy and thoughtful....although a little TOO over protective.

What about Natalie Duke’s performance did you like?

She did a great job with the voices. Unfortunately, there were a few editing blips. At least 3 sentences were repeated when one of the two should have been cut out in editing. Example: any guy who willingly let Tucker...

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Money isn't everything

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the book but might not read more in the series because Caroline was sooooo money obsessed. It's one thing to be poor but to be so rude about it as an adult is just not a person I can "like" very much.
