Really enjoyed

I finished the book quicker than I planned to. I enjoyed the story and mysteries. I listened to the Lady of Darkness series first so the crossovers were truly a treat. I love how this series expands this universe and the story slowly pulls back layers on what the characters THINK they know. The last few chapters kind of confused me a little. I felt like we were going so slowly with almost a day to day conversations, but then things quickly sped up after the last hearing. I had to go back a few times thinking I missed a plot or something. Im most intrigued with Cat she just seems like a character that lingers in the background but notices everything and is very insightful. I hope to see more of her in future books. Tessa is a frustrating character for me. I get her at times but other times she’s a bit over dramatic at the wrong time. The main characters are like a toxic couple that needs counseling lol. Triangles are the strongest shape so I’m interested in how the main characters relationships evolve in the future. Overall I’m enjoying this series.

Good story

Didn’t like separate narrators though. It made the voices different in every chapter and that felt odd.

An incredible follow up to the first book! I am so invested in these characters and cannot wait to see what happens with Tessa and Theon. 😬

Confused

Fmc is bi polar and suffering from ptsd irritating story was all over the place the main male character also suffering ptsd and has anger issues the dragon has no mind if his own will I read 3rd yes hopefully the three mAin characters find mental health help

I need the next book!

The riddles, the visions, the ending! Immediately buying the next book. I can’t wait to see how Tessa and Theon’s relationship will turn out.

This was an amazing continuation of this story. It has amazing world building. Had me on my toes about what was going to be revealed next. The cliffhanger has me dying for next book in October. Love that it is in the same universe as Lady of Darkness but is its own story. I loved Lady of Darkness but I love that I am not just reading the same story with different characters.

Biting my nails!

Oh my goodness was I in the edge of my seat with this book. Can’t wait till the release of the 3rd book in October!

Amazing.

The action in this book was insane!
I could not put it down until I finished it. The secrets, betrayal, and so many questions left unanswered.
I hope there is some serious groveling in the next book. How will they save tessa? I don't know how they will earn her trust back but I can't wait to find out.
I'm also glad we got some cross over in this book with some of the Lady of Darkness series characters. I hope we see more of them.
I don't want to spoil anything so l'll stop here.
Hands down, Five plus stars.
