All the feels

Overall I enjoyed the story , the MMC was a troubled lost soul and once the FMC is inserted the plot really takes off.
A short listen compared to most and it was nice , no filler!
Logan gets a happy ending and I would listen again.

Logan and Sierra

This is a new to me author and I am sure there will be many more I listen/read by her. This book drew me in and before I knew it it was over. I loved the connection of the characters. This is classified as a MC book but I would not classify as an MC. It had depth dealing with personal addictions and loss with a splash of coming of age trying to decide a future for oneself and what that looks like. The narrators did an amazing job and look forward to more from both the author and narrators.

This was a really good story! I’m new to Sara Cate, but I definitely will be checking out her other books now. I’m not a huge MC listener, so I really like the twist that Sara gave this biker group! The story was original. Narrative was also done really well!
Definitely worth the credit or coin!

Terrific Story & Listen🎧 Enjoyable & Entertaining!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is a great opposites attract, bad boy, good girl romance. It is my first book by Sara Cate and it will not be my last, I enjoyed her writing style and the story she created. The characters are complex and nicely developed, the two leads are likable and easy to relate to. Sierra’s family own a condo in Wickett Beach, aka “Wicked Beach” an island vacationers frequent, she has been going there since she was young. She accompanies her friend Natalie to get a tattoo when she see him, the boy she has a crush on secretly watches from a far. Logan, a local who now works in the tattoo shop is not a fan of spring break or the chaos it brings. But when he sees Sierra he recognizes her, she is the girl he was watching from afar, the one who did not belong in Wicked Beach. She isn’t just that young girl anymore she has grown up. Logan winds up coming to her rescue after some aggressive partiers get in her face. I loved the chemistry between the two, I thought they were great together and for each other. He had his issues and struggles, tried pushing her away because she was too good for him but she did not give up on him, even when it all went to hell. A lot goes on in this book, the story is fast paced and plotted out nicely with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments and a wonderful romance. Sara Cate, thank you for the terrific story!

Kennett Elliott and Shan Roswell are terrific narrators and voice artists. They did a great job portraying the characters, bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the terrific listen🎧

A sweeter story than expected!

I was super hesitant going into this story, I avoid stories with addiction, but I really want to clear more of Cate's catalogue. I was relieved that this wasn't an intense spiral of addiction but rather a wake up call before things are irrevocable. It was a sweeter push and pull with some oh sh*t moments. I liked the characters and I enjoyed the story. The narration wasn't super personable but it wasn't distracting either. I'd revisit both narrators.

From the very beginning I was hooked into this story! It had all the right amount of struggle,love,addiction, growth,and passion. Both narrators kept me engaged throughout and delivered excellent quality! They were a perfect match for this romance and complimented one another well. Will definitely be checking out more of Sara Cates books as well as each narrator!

18+ you wont want to stop listening

Loving the wicked hearts series, each one can be read/listened to as a standalone. Sierra comes to wicked for vaction every springbreak with her family and she doesnt really care for the scene. Logan is drug addict that work tattoo shop. They are from 2 different world and he thinks he not good enough. I love their connection. I read the book and now i can. Listen to it. I enjoy both narrators and how they bought the characters to life.

Cute story.

I wished main guy wouldn’t have been so mean to her with his words when he pushed her away how many times. Especially the last time. I wished the story would have mentioned more about his mean words and her not accepting that. He never apologized. Even knowing he didn’t mean them. Still. That bothered me. She just came running back to his arms always. For a strong woman, she should have addressed that part way more. Demanded an apology. But I did love how her dad stepped up for his daughter knowing she loved him with all she had. That I loved to see. Otherwise very cute story.

Light on the MC

While this MC romance was very light on the MC aspects and more of a new adult story, I still found it enjoyable. The drama kept me guessing and the romance and love scenes were angsty and passionate. The voice acting was great with both narrators.

Surprisingly different

This is not your typical misunderstood bad boy book. This book has layers and love and is overall a good listen. I did not "love" it and I could put it down until it was convenient to listen again. I would recommend listening as the performance and characters were likable and enjoyable. I think this book could have been stellar with the right editing, but is a good listen as is.
