And tourists came in droves, many of them searching for long-lost relatives who had relocated to Petaybee during its colonization phase. The Petaybeans had their hands full trying to protect their beloved planet from the sudden influx of visitors.

Then some of Petaybee's staunchest champions - Yanaba Maddock, Marmion de Revers Algemeine, Bunny Rourke, and Diego Metaxos - were kidnapped. The perpetrators wanted Petaybee for its incredible mineral wealth and were determined to force the Petaybeans to make a trade: the planet for the people. They simply didn't understand that such a bargain was impossible. For the only one who could speak for Petaybee was Petaybee itself - and no one knew what a living planet could do once it found its voice.

This is actually the unabridged recording of the first book The Powers that Be. I have reported error to customer service.

Avoid abridged versions

It seems that Many of Anne’s books have been abridged. I think a lot of criticism of the storyline comes from the abridged versions of the audiobooks.

Wrong recording for the title.

This recording says it’s supposed to be the third book in the trilogy. At that length I expected to get unabridged version. The recording that was downloaded turned out to be the ABRIDGED version of the entire trilogy. Not what I wanted nor what I paid for. The abridged versions leave out very important parts of the story, and not worth listening to.

Wrong Title(s)

This book is advertised as the 3rd book in Petaybee Trilogy, but actual recording starts at book #1 / starport. It may include the third book at the end, but I am not that patient.

I will avoid Phoenix Books products in the future!
