Own It!!! Work for It!

Are you looking for the motivation to change your life? Get in better shape or get more out of life? DDP tells how he made it to success in life in several different careers. He uses several other peoples transformation using his system to help motivate you.
It is basic principles to change your life but most of us need help getting started and a good plan to make it happen. This is a good road map to get there but you have to put in the work to make it happen. Basically ‘Own It’

The narrator is a little annoying at first but it didn’t take long to get used to his voice and embrace it.

I am into my second time through the book and am trying to implement some of the simple principles immediately.

The last few chapters are a synopsis of DDPY program and what is offered in the DVD’s or the app. I plan on purchasing those in the near future. I am ready to make a life change and get out of the same routine that hasn’t led me anywhere special. Enjoy the book, take it to heart, and implement it and anything is possible.

ONE BIG INFOMERCIAL (And I love it!)

I have watched the online videos that Diamond Dallas Page has and of course, the Arthur video that I never ever get tired of seeing, but I really didn't know much about DDP himself. The book has many success stories of both wrestlers and everyday people and the background on DDP. I wasn't a huge wrestling fan (and you don't have to be either to enjoy his story), but had definitely heard of him and most of the wrestlers that he has worked with. Loved hearing stories about Dusty Rhodes and some of the others in here, but genuinely found myself really interested in the whole story of DDP and how he went from a football player and hockey player to having to switch to basketball because of an injury and then working so hard that he played in college. You can tell that he does everything 90% (read and you will understand) and there isn't much that could stop him from going where he wants to go.

I love how passionate DDP is about his program and especially about helping people. He even emailed people who bought his program and wasn't just interested in making the money, but was genuinely interested in helping them. I am sold on him and his program and just started it this week. I don't need to lose hundreds of pounds, but just turned 50 and could lose 25-30 pounds to feel better and definitely could reap the benefits of both yoga and additional exercise. My wife is doing this with me as well and we completed the Diamond Dozen which goes over most of the positions that will be used and we were both not only impressed, but also could feel the workout in our arms and legs and this wasn't even a workout, just a 20 minute video on learning the positions. I can't wait to see where I am after a few months of doing this.

Good Read

Overall, I liked the book. Good insights into DDP's life and overcoming adversity. The only issue I had with the book is at times it felt like one big sales pitch for DDP yoga. I would still recommend it however.

get the BANG for your buck!

I really loved this book. DDP's life story and inspiration that he gives really has me reflect on what I can do and what I can't do.....yet. by the end of the book I was really pumped to take a hold of my life and make a change. I highly recommend for anyone who feels lost about how to make a change.

DDP keeping it real...

Loved every bit of this book. I knew NOTHING about wrestling when I started this book. not that it's about wrestling, but DDP shares his story and it's his back injury that brought me to this book...along with Authers story. I have listened to it twice now and plan to listen again. lots of great information, motivation and inspiration. I highly recommend it. and if you are shy of profanity...GET OVER IT, and just listen to the message that DDP has to share...you will be glad you did. love it!!!

A gift to us all in the form of a great story!

As an old WCW and theDP fan, I downloaded this book not expecting much more than an entertaining story. It turned out to be a very entertaining story and quite motivational. I was there when the Hitman robbed DDP of his title belt and never would’ve imagined being genuinely inspired by my favorite professional wrestler in my 50’s. Bang!

LOVE DDP and his philosophy! Super inspiring!

I'm a huge DDPYoga fan. I'm currently doing the program. This book helps keep it real and believe you can really do or achieve anything you set your mind to.

Inspiration for success in life!

I'm lucky enough to have met and worked out with Dallas at two of his DDPY workshops. You cannot help but be inspired by everything he has achieved and all the success stories of people who's lives he has helped change. To anyone who has a goal in life........read the book, do his DDPY, change your life. You won't regret it.
