OK but not great

I got through this book but it was pretty much a typical ghost story. As in other reviews, the narrator really had a hard time speaking as the female characters. It did have a couple of new ideas that were quite interesting, but I won’t be continuing this saga.

Narrating was horrible

The story wasn't bad but I could not get past the narrator! If the main characters are women please get a woman narrator, his imitation of a woman sounded mocking. The story wasn't bad but ok.

Most intense supernatural fiction ever.

This is not your traditional haunted house series. The spirits that haunt these locations are more intense and scary than those found in the usual haunted house novel. The narration is also excellent. I won't say too much because I don't want to give spoilers. If you like high power haunting and epic battles between good and evil, this is definitely your series.

this was a good book though it was in certain parts disturbing. had a good storyline and the narrator I had to get used to but he did a good job.

I like the writing. The narrator is terrible at inflection and really bad at female characterization.

Wow I love the paranormal this book gives you ghosts and crime and death and all my favorite things ❤️

The vocabulary

A great horror story. Even those who don’t like them may enjoy this one! It keeps you enthralled to the end.

I enjoyed the first few books in the series . I'm off to the next in line. My second go around.

not a bad Haunting story... but nothing original... Echoes of Hill House with a side dish of 9Th Gate. it relies on shock factor with imagery that isn't too shocking

OUTSTANDING STORIES!!!! THERE WAS NOTHING I DIDN'T LIKE!!

I never wanted to stop listening to it. Every morning noon and night , when I wasn't working. The book was exciting and scarey, my FAVORITE kind!!
