Intelligent and funny

I loved this book. The characters were warm, intelligent and funny. There were many laugh aloud moments.

She does it again!

Few authors have the skill to capture the reader so quickly from the first words of the first chapter as Laine. As the last seconds and the last words glide by I just thought hope her next text is ready to go. Great characters, captivating plot.

Please ignore the other reviews this is a great book!!

I’m not done with the book yet however, I wonder what other people have been listening to! This is a great book, well written it’s a very introspective view of how we are living our lives these days—-at least so far yes it is a long book, but it gives you a great clear picture of how people deal with hurt love loss and other things in this crazy life we live.... so far I think it’s well worth the purchase stay tuned.

Meh

I’ve like all of her books so far. This one missed the mark for me. Didn’t have that trademark charm, and I thought the story was clunky and weird. I kept wondering when she was going to get back to business. But she never did. The end seemed to trail off, like a rushed afterthought.

Moriarty's funniest book yet!

I caught myself laughing out loud more times than I can count! Even though Moriarty introduces characters of multiple generations and various walks of life, she is able to capture their unique insights so colorfully. Such an enjoyable read! #Transformative #NobleSilence #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

Characters with Complex Problems

While the overarching story is a bit outlandish, I really enjoyed the individual characters in this book. Each has a back story that delves in to serious issues, and those back stories make the characters fairly relatable. I enjoyed the book and the plot, and I always find Caroline Lee's narration to be entertaining. This was no exception. Read it. It’s fun.

I regret not starting this sooner. I have enjoyed the authors other books but I hesitated because some of the reviews complained that it wasn’t as good as her other books or the narration was terrible and slow. I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, creative book. I loved the narration but am grateful to know you can speed it up or slow it down if you prefer. If you like this authors style you should like this book. Read it!

Engrossing Engaging Relevant and Smarr

I discovered this author when I read Big Little Lies. This is now her sixth book I have devoured since then. I love her rich characterizations and hidden relevant plot lines. I laughed and cried and mourned and celebrated each of the nine strangers. I'm actually rather sad it is over. I hope the upcoming mini series does not destroy her lovely work here.
