Publisher's summary

One test, only two results: dominant or submissive. "Join the army," they said. "It will be fun," they said. "There hasn't been a war in years..." they said. The plan was to get his physical therapy degree, so he could support himself through med school. After a year into med school though, Teague wavers in his plan and has to decide how to pay off his student debt and quick. No respectable dominant would undertake a submissive with substantial debt, so in order to pay it all off and build a future for him and his future submissive, he joins the army. The war with Duro started exactly seven months after Teague joined the army, just about the perfect amount of time for him to go through boot camp and be shipped off to the front lines as a medic. He wasn't always going there as a medic, but then the war took a turn for the worst and the medics were overrun with patients giving underqualified medical practitioners like Teague the position of a medic. Now that the war has calmed down, his new task is to go with his squadron to sweep the abandoned city of Duro, or at least what they thought was the abandoned city of Duro. Female. If only she had been born male then life would have been everything that anyone would have wanted... but she wasn't. She was the forth wife, the fourth favorite and the fourth choice for just about everything out of the four wives of her lord. Never had being the fourth been a blessing to her until the fateful day of the Purge.
