i loved everything about this series! i can only wish there was more. like maybe Lindy and Alex working vampire cold cases. Anything! i could listen to anything ms olson writes over and over again, especially if it's narrated by mr daniels!

Short and to the point with actions and emotions
I didn't know what to expect from this series but found myself enjoying it. Sad certain characters died, and understood why one had to die. Narration was spot on by Luke Daniels. He does a great job flipping between male and female characters. Anywho, excellent conclusion to trilogy I was originally skeptical when I made my purchase.

Made for TV perfect
A thrilling, if tropey and predictable, ending to the trilogy. This series has the perfect blend of police procedural and vampire urban fantasy. There's grit, action and suspense without gratuitous F bombs, torture or sex. There's humor and decent depth to the side characters (loved Noel). There's no unecessary filler (although frankly, one or two fun detours would have been welcome, given the short length of these). There's even the potential for other, stand alone police procedurals, which I would gladly buy (albeit only on sale if the novella length continues).
