Louise Rafkin never imagined she'd end up cleaning refrigerators or having a preference for a particular brand of paper towels. But what started out as a quick way to earn a living became a curious preoccupation with all things clean...and messy. Other People's Dirt is a collection of Rafkin's observation and commentary about her and her clients' dilemmas with dirt. Her articles and essays have appeared in numerous periodicals, including The New York Times, Ladies' Home Journal, and The Los Angeles Times.

An entertaining story of the philosophy of clean

This was a fun look at the lives of those who clean up after the rest of us. Some observations on what you should and shouldn't do if you hire people to clean your home, and some discussion of the economics of housecleaning (it's a bad deal pay-wise for many of the people who do it for a living, but not all ).There' were also many of her own experiences, and some stories of other people who have lived as housekeepers.

Eh - not recommended

I thought this had such potential...too bad the author isn't a very good narrator. She should have left it to a professional. Her pacing was off and pretty distracting. The sound quality was also lacking quite a bit. I'm really disappointed in this audio book and would NOT suggest anyone buy it.
