I love all Dana's books and have her other physical books. This one pushes me to continue decluttering and reminds me of what she's already taught me lol Thanks Dana!

I loved it, bite sized tips and just from total different perspective from those "magic" organize your home today that never works for me. This book is gold. Go listen to it now! Thanks Dana for writing and recording this !

Since I live alone, some of her tips, as she lives with a family, aren't applicable to me. Most of them, though, are so great and so simple that it was definitely an inspiring listen. I feel like I can get my house a little more comfortable, definitely a little more spacious, and more enjoyable. I know we're all promised "a few simple things will change everything," but sometimes they really do. I've already started cleaning and decluttering, because that's what I do when I listen to these kinds of books, and it's already making a difference. Here's to better habits.

not 100% applicable, but definitely worth a listen

On the topics of cleaning and decluttering, it is hard to find advice out there that is down to earth and practical for us "normal" people- the people who are busy, possibly neurodivergent, and/or have created mental road blocks when it comes to cleaning. But this book addresses cleaning and decluttering processes in a way that is helpful, brief, and most importantly sensitive to the emotions that often come with getting rid of items or cleaning dishes that have been left for too long. I cannot wait to start putting these practical tips into action- I am confident that the results will be truly life changing for my household.

great for normal humans

The author’s intention with this book is to create a more concise and combined version, I believe, of her 2 previous books on decluttering and managing your home. It has been a while since I read her first book about managing your home, but as I recall that book focused quite a bit on overall strategies for managing the home cleaning, etc. as well as decluttering. Her second book was focused most specifically on decluttering. This book is not a traditional organization book… it is moreover a book on keeping the home manageable in a manageable straight forward way
. She keeps each chapter brief, focusing on one topic for each chapter that is part of each section of the book (with different focuses for each section). She covers both decluttering and cleaning tips, along with some other home management strategies. If you have not yet read her other two books, this is a great introduction to them - and as she says, in the beginning of this book…you can find more information and more words on these topics by reading her other books. She narrates her books very well… It feels very personal and is easy to listen. There were definitely some tips in this book that I don’t think I had heard about or thought about previously - unless they were in her first book, and I have simply forgotten as it has been several years since I read it. I read (listened to) her second book very recently.
I am someone who utilizes all natural cleaning products… Well, as much all natural and organic products for everything I do in my life as possible… So not all of her cleaning tips were applicable for me, since I do not use harsh chemicals, and know how to use natural products, such as white vinegar, baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to do the same job as harsh chemical products… And often the natural products truly do a better job of it, I have found. But I’m sure these tips can be quite helpful for those readers who utilize standard chemical cleaning products from the grocery store. She has some creative and helpful cleaning tips regardless of what products you use!
And I very much resonate with and appreciate her decluttering strategies as much of the focus is being able to Declutter in the midst of your regular life, where you won’t be making a big mess in the middle of decluttering. And by following the simple steps of her decluttering strategies, you can achieve significantly better organization and ease in your life.
Even though I have her other two books, I’m glad I also have this book now as it offers some easy to find tips and strategies because of the way it is written and formatted. There is also a PDF which accompanies this book I believe. I might also consider buying the physical book as well, if I want to be able to quickly glance at the tips and strategies rather than looking through the audiobook… Though the chapters index in this audiobook are descriptive of each topic, so it makes the audiobook very easy to use!
Definitely recommend!

An easy listen with many great ideas
