Story
London 1812. War hero Adam Grey returns with a burning ambition to run for Parliament. But he needs the support of the local baronet, who controls the seat. And his father has promised him to the baronet's daughter. Adam wants nothing to do with marriage or his father's problems, so he fakes an engagement to Cass Linford—his best friend's sister. Cass has been through hell since she last saw Adam and given up on marriage. So when Adam suggests a temporary engagement, she agrees. He needs help with his campaign, and Cass can't resist his charm or the chance to be involved in politics.

Story
The first wedding night that Lady Juliana St. Albans spent with the dark and daring Rhys Vaughan was intoxicating, the heady culmination of her new husband's driving hunger and her own awakened sensuality. When he mysteriously disappeared the next morning, she waited for him in hope and desperation. And when he was finally proclaimed dead in a shipwreck, she bitterly mourned the loss of her love. The second wedding night that Juliana spent with Rhys Vaughan was six years later.

Annabel was about to take the veil to become a nun, when her mother suddenly arrived at the abbey to take her home...so that she can marry the Scottish laird who is betrothed to her runaway sister! She knows nothing about being a wife, nothing about how to run a household, and definitely nothing about the marriage bed. From the moment Ross MacKay sets eyes on Annabel, he is taken with his shy, sweet bride...and the fact that she's blessed with lush curves only makes him utter his own prayers of thanks. But when an enemy endangers her life, he'll move the Highlands themselves to save her.

Alright
Although it started off interesting it quickly turned boring for me. The first few hours I was contemplating just not finishing. I liked his character very much, her not so much until the end. There were a lot of boring parts and some of the story confused me or seemed contradictory. Narration was great.
