I absolutely loved it!
This is a well-done version of beauty and the beast. I listened every second i could to this wonderful story. I adored the characters, and the storyline was unique... which made it even better! I was hooked from the first... in fact I wanted more when it came to its ending... thank you for the enjoyment!

Listened for the narrator
I am a huge Mary Jane Wells fan and listened for the narration. This is my first Hannah Howell experience. I enjoyed the writing style, liked the story, and felt connected to the characters. The dialog was witty, it made me laugh several times.

Sweet Retelling of the Classic Story
This was my first title by this author, and I mostly chose it because of the narrator Mary Jane Wells who I always love. It was a sweet fast, paced story of fate and Fortune bringing two unlikely souls together as one. The love scenes were sweet, but not terribly spicy overall I recommend it.

Enjoyable read
I enjoyed following her life full of uncertainty as far which man would be her groom? Emotional roller coaster 😊i was a bit confused toward the end when he goes to fight the Scottish because I kinda thought that they Were Scottish. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Listened for a 2nd time!!😍
Oh my gosh, Mary Jane Wells is such an incredible narrator!!! She shines as more of a dramatic reader who understands the inner workings of Howell’s characters. This might be one of my favorite listens, EVER! It’s SO FUNNY, and SO steamy. I laugh and cry and enjoy every moment. I’m going to buy a paperback, and will forever hear Mary Jane as I read. It’s just. so. good.
