On the surface that sounds almost like a fairy tale, only this competition is brutal and bloody, and the prince is the jerk who kidnapped me. I can't get too close to him or he'll know I'm not fae, and then I'm dead. But I want to get close to him. His body burns with the fire of a cold star, and I'm drawn to him.

I need to fight the pull and survive long enough to find a way out of here, but these winter fae won't make that easy.

Amazing

This was one of the best books I have ever listen to on this app. The plot was good but the narration and the way the characters talks is just spectacular I cannot wait to listen to more!!!

Amazing!!

This story takes you on a wonderful adventure!! Everything flows so beautifully that you can feel the cold, smell the scents & hear the sounds. The narrators did a wonderful job! I can’t wait to start book 2!!

Great story

I loved the accent of the narrator and the story was lovely. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The suspense is incredible too

Pretty Good

This book was very good, the vivid detail of this fairy land was wonderful. The characters are developing very nicely. I like the MCs and the supporting characters. I cannot wait to listen to the other books.

Humor and suspense

This is one of the best books that I’ve ever listened to. It is well written.

Fabulous PG fantasy adventure story

“The coldest fae” is not my typical reading genre (I love hot & heavy romances) so this was a fresh change for me.
I cannot fault Martinez’ writing, super interesting storyline had me hooked & found it difficult to put down. I loved the strong female lead & all the supporting FCs are fabulous. I enjoyed the premise of the women leading armies into battle & during it out for the hand of the prince (a nice reversal from olden days adventure stories).
A good vocal performance by the actor, nice vocal differentials for other female characters. I’m intrigued enough to read the whole series.

Very nice

wasn't what I was expecting still a fun read, I like the relationship between the lead and the fairy. Surprisingly there's not a lot of time between the lead and the love entrust .

Good fantasy

It's got the makings of a really great love story but it's definitely a slow build. Luckily the books are rather short. It will take at least a couple more before I can really decide.

It’s cute

Good listen.. the story was somewhat cliché, but it kept my attention. I like slow burn romances so kudos to that, but the Prince I don’t really like him yet though.. I need to still warm up to him..
