FOR THE LAST 19 YEARS OF MY LIFE, I’ve heard the tales and been warned to stay away. The thing is though, I’m not a very good listener. I got lost in the magic. He scented me. He claimed me with a bite on my neck. And I ran.
Quickly and with a new terror racing in my heart.
I swore I would never return. I would not trust the magic and allow it to entrance me again. I would not risk being caught in the hands of the Beast again.
But that was months ago and I miss the magic. Not only that, but I dream of the beast. It’s not a dream I’d admit to out loud, but it’s a dream I’d like to see come true.

heartfelt love story with a fantastic amount of spice
My one and ONLY singular complaint is the male narrator, and yet he doesn't distract from the story and the feelings! His cadence is a little off. It feels like he speaks more in questions than he does in statements, and for what is supposed to be a dominant character it feels off. But that barely takes away from the story itself! This book is easy to get lost in. I hope that she continues the story into a series and I know I will be buying the physical copy asap!!!!

Not bad not great
Was somewhat tedious to read at points, and the male narrators voice is not for me but it’s nothing personal. Felt like it was just A LOT of inner angst and dialogue for how little romance there was.

Just ok
The males voice is difficult to listen to, especially in the beginning. The story drags on with constant drawn out inner monologue that is repetitive. The smutty parts are quick and nothing to write home about. I'm a little sad I paid for this book to be honest. If you love beauty and the beast and really want to listen to this book I recommend finding a free trial and just cancel after you've finished. Definitely not a book I will listen to again.
