Cute story!

This was a cute little story of love, starting out in a whirl hurt & misunderstanding. Then taking the whole rest of book to untangle. Enjoyed following the storyline & narration was pretty good.

Cute historical Romance story

Cute historical romance story with humor about two people who seem to be at odds with one another or “enemies to lovers trope”, but come to an agreement to help push two people together in a matchmaking scheme and tension builds between the two main characters.

The author did an excellent job of writing this book, it’s short, but it is good and kept my attention.
HEA delivered
I also listened to the audiobook and the narrator, Heather Wilds, does an excellent job.

However!

Everything was just great until the consummation. They both are dodging scandal. So where do they pick to do it?

it was sweet and didn't drag on and on. right amount of tension and romance.

Great listen

The story is well written and perfectly narrated. Lovely character development, and as for the first book in the series, Anna Bradley depicts a fascinating description of rumours, the illusions they weave and their impact on lives.
