Enchanting mystery-romance
I love the merging of my two favorite genres. The author must be a MFM fan! (There were too many parallels to ignore the inspiration from Georgia and Karen and Elvis)! The story was enjoyable without being overly graphic in the crime or romance department. I hope there is a second story in the series where the story of Val an Caro will be explored. 😊

Totally fun!!!
I enjoyed this playful story that has a multi class relationship and a fun mystery starring a very smart female lead. Good laughs, lightly playful and some reminders of how far women have come.

Smart exciting leading lady
How can a narrator change voices so easily? I truly enjoyed this narrator's portrayal of multiple characters. story does not disappoint! Great listen!

Excellent! Story and narration.
Great story and superb narration.
Well developed & likable characters all while providing an intriguing who done it. Perfect pacing as each person and their back stories were introduced and developed. Of course, I love a smart, strong female lead and a real man who can love her as she is.

Pretty Fun
This was a quick and fairly light read, given the murder mystery subject matter. It’s a romance book and there is a little spice in it. While this book was a pretty good read, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. It was fun to listen to though, albeit a little cringy at times.

Great Mystery Historical Romance
Great (multiple!) female representation with wit and charm. Romantic leads that manage to stay true to the times without any of the nastier tropes of historical romance. 10/10 would recommend. The narrator did a great job as well and I was engaged throughout the story.
