Another Great Addition to the Series!

This is the fifth book in the Hot Scots Series. I love this series! Rae and Iain's age-gap romance continues thirteen years after the short prequel The Notorious Dr. MacT. I loved their second chance to love! Rae is beautiful, smart, determined, and independent. Iain is very handsome, and sexy. I liked his determination to win Rae back. He brilliantly redeemed himself. The story is sweet, sexy, funny, and heartwarming, filled with secrets, and twists and turns. The supporting characters are amazing. They have such a cute, intelligent daughter! I loved following Rae and Iain on their journey to love. Mary Ann Weathers and Patrick Zeller did an outstanding job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward for more in the series! I definitely recommend this series!

Love, humor and romance

It was a lovely romantic story with a good dose of humor, sexy scenes and I loved this couple. I loved every Indiana Jones movies and archeology is a passion of mine so this book was my favorite so far!

This is my review of the book, but listening to this audiobook was even better! The story really came alive.

Ok, up until now Aiden (#2, Wicked in a kilt) was my favourite Hot Scot but Iain beat him to it! This book is even better then the others. It's a gift to be able to write books like these. I love every single one!!
Iain and Rae have a history together. Halfway her thoughts are: ‘I was terrified I might be falling for Iain all over again.' Awww girl, surprise: you’re in deep trouble!!
After a bumpy ride they finally have their HEA.

OMG! On their flight to Scotland, after they joined the miles high club, Iain proposes to Rae. Awww... I melted!

And there’s a Hot Scot #6 coming too! Can’t wait for Evan’s story too. And I really, really hope there will be a lot more family members whose story can be told!

Very compelling

Iain and Rae have an unbreakable bond that lasts through 13 years of separation. When the time comes for their paths to cross again, nothing can keep their love from coming back to life. The narrators do a terrific job of handling the varying emotions that come with this story. In fact, I enjoyed it more the second time because I knew all the secrets and what was going to happen. I could appreciate their performances even more then. Overall, this story is very romantic, sexy, and funny.

A wonderful Tale! A favorite of mine!

I loved this one! It has drama, intrigue, sexy times, and a determined guy going after his gal. I really enjoyed these two! Rae is a favorite character who shows how strong and resilient women can be. I just did not care for how long it took her to tell him about the you-know-who. I get being nervous and a wreck but once those old feelings popped back up it should have came out of her mouth. Ian is a dream Harrison Ford…Hat and all! I loved how determined he was to get her back and really never wavered. He took everything in stride. Yeah he has a sketchy past with women and…you know..that other stuff. But he overall impressed me with his actions.

I did listen to this on audio. Mary Ann Weather and Patrick Zellar did a wonderful job on the narration. This is one of my favorites in the series.

Second Chance for Rae and Iain

Second chance for Rae and Iain. I did spend part of this book being kinda mad at Iain but the way he redeemed himself made me fall absolutely in love with him. Rae is so strong and determined. Such a great example of how to be an independent woman, despite the heartbreak and devastation she endured in her younger years.
Narration by Mary Ann Weathers and Patrick Zeller was spot on and really enhanced my enjoyment of the story.
