Love the Plum series!

Would you consider the audio edition of Notorious Nineteen to be better than the print version?

Hm.....I love reading myself, but when I read these books on my own, yes I still laugh. However, I have to admit Lorelei King is such a great narrator/performer I do laugh harder when I listen to her read them to me! Audiobooks last longer for me as well, since I will limit the time I listen, where when I read I can't seem to make myself put the book down...

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not so much on the edge of my seat.....but the book kept me in stitches.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

More humor. And please keep her doing this series. The earlier books were narrated by another and they just aren't right. Lorelei is the voice of Steph, Lula, Ranger, Joe, Gramma! It sounds wrong when I listen to another read them now and they never measure up to King.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Saw One for the Money, while it was ok it wasn't nearly as funny as the books, in my opinion. Heigel is a great actress but she just wasn't Stephanie to me.

Great narrator

Ms Plum is at it again. Her cars and apartment is battle tested. She's the luckiest Bounty Hunter in the berg.

Stephanie Dies Trying to Get Her Men

What made the experience of listening to Notorious Nineteen the most enjoyable?

Stephanie Plum, family, and friends are all the auditory version of Keystone Kops. The laughs never stop while Stephanie finds newer and more creative ways to bungle her Fugitive Apprehension Agent career.

Yet Stephanie always gets her man. Dead or Alive!

I'll have to admit that i missed the character of Joyce Barnhardt this time. Every book needs an antagonist and Joyce is #1 against Stephanie.

What did you like best about this story?

The continued progression of the relationships that Stephanie has with Ranger and Morelli. The author continues to do an exdellent job of maintaining the sexual tension that Stephanie has with each man. All the while she slowly pushes Stephanie toward what now seems her future. But who knows what the future will bring.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love the consistentcy that Lorelei provides as the narrator. This is an obviously female-driven character role. Lorelei's narration provides the emotion and attitudes to Stephanie as well an emphasis in scenes that I would tend to overllok.

So much of the scenes are less WHAT is described than HOW it is described. Lorelei's narration adds that special attitude that Stephanie possesses. And her narration and voice inflections are amazingly consistent from book to book.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reaction. Just enjoyed another excellent book by Janet Evanovich. Six hours well spent and I look forward to the next adventure.

Very good book

As always this author didn't disappoint. I have read all the Stephanie Plummer series and have never been disappointed.

It's a fun and exciting read

I like all of the numbered Janet Evanovich books. They are fun and very entertaining. Stephanie is like a grown up, contemporary Ann of Green Gables, always getting in trouble, but never on purpose. I have an extra set of the series in paperbacks, that I use to introduce reading to non-readers; works every time. I have enjoyed listening to the Stephanie Plum series while I travel. I get to laugh a lot and I really look forward to my daily traveling just so I can hear the stories. Sometimes, I don't even want to get out of the car. What I like best is that there is just not one story line in a book, there are usually quite a few, but they all come together in the end. Janet's characters are a hoot!
