Funny and a Good Plot

The only thing I didn’t like was how the narrator had these long breathy pauses. Otherwise, the storyline was good and I laughed out loud several times!

I can’t wait for the next Stephanie Plum novels.

I watch the movie and jumped down the rabbit hole, that is Stephanie Plum. I have read every one of her novels and went on to read( or listen to) all of her other books. I wait every year for the next one to come out.
The main character is likable and we all have friends that sort of just fall into their lives, with no advanced planning. Stephanie is one of those people. I enjoy getting involved in her adventures. These are good light-hearted reading with life thrown in for a little action.

I read this book at least 25 yrs ago. Listening to it was a real treat and I needed the laugh.

Entertaining if you don’t think too much

This was my first Stephanie Plum book. I like the character and the reader’s voice. The writing, not so much. Strange attention to details that don’t matter, and way too much exposition (unraveling the plot) at the very end. But I may try another one to see if the writing gets better. Interesting female detective characters are hard to come by.

Made me laugh out loud.

Loved it!! The story was very entertaining. I was engaged from beginning to end and often found myself laughing out loud. I would love to read more about Stephanie Plumb and her escapades as a bounty hunter.

Came back for this one, started later in the series. I wasn’t disappointed In The least! Great book! Awesome start!

Stephanie Plum...Girl Wonder

I love the characters in all the Stephanie Plum novels..Janet Evanovich never disappoints..the only thing I don't love is coming to the inevitable end..

Great read

I really enjoyed this Janet Evanovich book. I accidentally listened to the last book in the series and decided to see where the series began. I plan to listen to the rest of the series. The stories can stand alone or read in sequence.
The narrator is great. The voices she uses for the various characters are well done.
The book is funny and since they are mysteries can be tense. Loved the twists & turns, and the author ties them all up.
Highly recommend the series.
