Publisher's Summary

From “the most popular mystery writer alive” (The New York Times), the 27th entry in the number one New York Times best-selling series isn’t just the biggest case of Stephanie Plum’s career. It’s the adventure of a lifetime.

When Stephanie’s beloved Grandma Mazur’s new husband died on their wedding night, the only thing he left her was a beat-up old easy chair...and the keys to a life-changing fortune.

But as Stephanie and Grandma Mazur search for Jimmy Rosolli’s treasure, they discover that they’re not the only ones on the hunt. Two dangerous enemies from the past stand in their way - along with a new adversary who’s even more formidable: Gabriela Rose, a dark-eyed beauty from Little Havana with a taste for designer clothes. She’s also a soldier of fortune, a gourmet cook, an expert in firearms and mixed martial arts - and someone who’s about to give Stephanie a real run for her money.

Stephanie may be in over her head, but she’s got two things that Gabriela doesn’t: an unbreakable bond with her family and a stubborn streak that will never let her quit.

She’ll need both to survive because this search for “fortune and glory” will turn into a desperate race against time with more on the line than ever before. Because even as she searches for the treasure and fights to protect her Grandma Mazur, her own deepest feelings will be tested - as Stephanie could finally be forced to choose between Joe Morelli and Ranger.

Disappointed

I have read everything Janet Evanovich has written. This book was just wrong it's not good it's not fine it's not an attention grabber. I didn't like it at all and I've loved every book she's written . This one is off the mark. Perhaps Stephanie could take a break. Could it be time for her to make a decision on the love of her life? Maybe time to end the series?

Phoning it in

I don't know why I still pay for these books. Lackluster story, no laugh out loud moments, short story for price. I didn't care what happened to Stephanie or grandma. Very light on Joe and Ranger too.

Another hit by Evanovich...

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, Fortune and Glory, takes Stephanie Plum to the next level. With her trademark humor, Evanovich has endearing moments laced through a novel full of suspense. Her characters are strong and we learn so much more about the characters we know and love. For Plum fans, or fans of a good mystery, this one is a nail biter and worth the time investment! I can’t wait to listen to it again and for the next installment!!

As always, Lorelei King brings perfection to her performance, and the narration is flawless.

Annoying

Potts was the most annoying character in any book I have ever read. I truly hope he is not in the next book.

My review of fortune and glory

As usual I love all of your books. I Listened to the first 26 in one month. I love the relationship between Marelli and Stephanie. I was a little disappointed that this book was more about Ranger then Marelli. It’s not to say that I don’t like Ranger, I just love Marelli more! I hope the next book gets Marelli and Stephanie back together again!!

So Bad, Potts why?

This is awful, having loved and reread all of the other
Stephanie Plum books this one is horrible actually one of the worst books I have ever read. There was no reason for Potts and what happened to the men in her life?

DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY OR CREDITS--I feel like she needs to apologize for this one and anyone who bought it should get a refund.

Fun adventure with a new characte

Action-packed and finally Ranger gets more action than just laughs and replacing vehicles. More of the characters we love and a Stephanie that is learning to be her own woman without depending on someone coming in for the rescue. Instead, they come in to sweep up the trash. There is a new character that has promise and promise of more of her in a new book.

Gripping, end of your seat, drama!

Great treasure hunt with the usual cast of characters plus bonus with the introduction of Gabriella Rose!
