Publisher's Summary

In his controversial New York Times best seller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage, Dinesh D’Souza answered the question on everyone’s mind: why is President Obama hell-bent on seeing America fail? The reason, D’Souza explained, is Obama’s fervent anticolonial ideology. Here, in his blockbuster follow-up, Obama’s America, D’Souza shows how President Obama is applying his anticolonial ideology to unmake America and turn it into a country our founders would hardly recognize.

Obama came into office with an eight-year plan for America, argues D’Souza. If he’s reelected in 2012, he will be able to finish the job—and destroy America’s future. Making the case that Obama must be a one-term president, Obama’s America reveals what unchecked power will do to this great nation and is a must-listen for anyone who cares about America and her future.

Dinesh D’Souza is the president of King’s College in New York City and author of the New York Times best seller The Roots of Obama’s Rage. He is also a former White House domestic policy analyst and research scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. His other best-selling books include What’s So Great about Christianity, What’s So Great about America, and Life after Death. He lives in New York with his wife and daughter.

"A must read for anyone seeking truth"
What did you love best about Obama’s America?

The support facts and credibility of a well-respected and well informed author. It is hard to dispute facts. If you are interested in who is sitting in the White House as our President, and wondering how a part time and short term do nothing US Senator, suddenly became qualified to lead a nation, read this book.

What did you like best about this story?

The straight truth and the tireless research and interviews that the author performed.

What about David Cochran Heath’s performance did you like?

a very easy and authoritative voice to listen to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The complete disconnect Obama has from his own family; the mentors the formed Obama's philosophy and life style. Most of all, the blatant hypocrisy that has become the fabric of Obama's character.

    Any additional comments?

It is unfortunate that this work will never be read by those who would most greatly benefit the truth about this President.

    "Compelling"
If you could sum up Obama’s America in three words, what would they be?

    Couldn't stop listening.

What did you like best about this story?

The information presented in this book should have been reported by the media. It is eye opening and backed up with facts. D'Souza's own background and history lends credence to this book. In addition, I feel that D'Souza presented this book in a respectful way, and lets the facts speak for themselves. The reader is left to draw their own conclusions.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me want to get involved in the November 2012 election.

"A good Read ... Better than 2016, the movie"
If you could sum up Obama’s America in three words, what would they be?

    Very Insightful

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

There seems to be a common thread that runs thru all of Obama's Childhood ... a feeling of resentment. He resents anyone who gets ahead, no matter what the reason for that success is, be it hard work or born into it. He uses the poor and downtrodden to take from the successful, "they don't deserve it". From D'Souza's research we see a person that has a lot of psychological problems. Being left behind by both parents, we see a boy with very low asteam, who attempts to make up for it with a super inflated ego. Hence, he is very Anti-success, Anti-personal responsibility, Anti-rich, Anti-"what America stands for and praises".

What about David Cochran Heath’s performance did you like?

I felt it was good, but it would have been better if the author had done the reading.

If you could give Obama’s America a new subtitle, what would it be?

Do we really know what drives this President?

    "In Depth Study of Obama"
What made the experience of listening to Obama’s America the most enjoyable?

Learning about Obama's background which is remarkably unknown, especially for a man who became President.

What other book might you compare Obama’s America to and why?

    The Great Destroyer

Which character – as performed by David Cochran Heath – was your favorite?

George Obama who only comes into play when Obama tries to hide him around election time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it was actually better to break it up into sections and compare information in the book to the information released by the media

    "now it makes sense"

This book gave me a valuable insight into Obama's presidency that had eluded me. The book is well researched and pulls from Obsma's speeches and writings to document the reasons his philosophy and actions. It truly is a must-read for all Americans.

    "Very sad very frustrating"

Every American should read this book before the next election. If Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton want to live in this kind of America they should say so up front and let the American voters choose whether or not we want to live in this kind of America based on an honest vote with real information. You should not go ahead do these kinds of things behind our backs just because you can because you are the president. It's wrong and it's Sneaky it's not honest. You are not representing United States of America. You are representing yourself and I'm pretty sure you know it. I feel sad and I feel angry. And I don't even feel safe to say that. That Surely doesn't feel like the America I grew up in. I think you may have sold her.
Please America read this book!! Then tell your friends and family then vote. We are still allowed to do that for now but we have to really educate ourselves and not vote for a D or an R. We can't be tricked again. Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me!!! Fool us 3x so to speak, I don't see how the USA could recover with over $20 trillion in debt and I think they would win and nothing frightens me more. I love the USA and I don't want to be a common country.

"Wish the 53% had listened to this before Nov 2012"
If you could sum up Obama’s America in three words, what would they be?

    We were warned

What did you like best about this story?

He does a good job. I know many didn't take him seriously when the book was released. I thought he was right then. And I still do.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

It's old news now, water under the bridge, which is collapsing like most everything else. It's just as D'Souza predicted.

"ALL OF AMERICA SHOULD HEAR/READ THIS"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I have already recommended it to everyone I know. There are a few stretches in the association of the facts to the theory but overall it makes so much more sense then other theories about Obama and why he is such a failure. I only wish that more of America listened and understood before they had re-elected him. Impeachment?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Obama’s America?

Has really given me the ability to look in the right place for information now.

Have you listened to any of David Cochran Heath’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Very objective and attempts to refute his own claims in order to prove them.

If you could give Obama’s America a new subtitle, what would it be?

    Not at all.

    "I learned a lot about Obama's background."
What made the experience of listening to Obama’s America the most enjoyable?

I was interested in learning more about Obama's background and beliefs. This gives possible explanations for many of his inexplicable actions as President. There was a lot of research done for the book. I found it very well done and very interesting.

What did you like best about this story?

Understanding more about Obama's possible reasons for his actions.
