Instead of using their knowledge in the publishing world for generational wealth, they stalk unsuspecting victims for personal gain. They were on a roll until one mistake in communication left them and their lies exposed to Jewel. Not one to ignore the signs of deceit, Jewel did her research and discovered their fictitious registry with the Secretary of the State of Missouri.

Thanks to her connection with some state employees. Jewel was able to arrange for the Secretary of State to look into her allegation. That's when Jewel found out how these scammers were able cheat so many and go undetected, sometimes months, or even years, may go by before on state department looks at what the other is doing. That opens the door for copyright infringement, bank fraud, and other crimes. When Jewel had the scammers summoned to the Saint Louis Court, they didn't worry, because they figured they knew a secret about Jewel that they could blackmail her with to keep her mouth closed. Their plans to humiliate her on the internet were halted in court when their government bank fraud scheme came back to haunt them.
