Night of the hunter, by RA Salvatore, picks up where the companions left off. This book is not just about Drizzt and his companions however, it is about the drow.
Here we see the further machinations of the residents of menzoberanazan as well as the new city of q'xorlaran. Intrigue backhanded Deals and plenty of back stabbing are the highlight of this book as Salvatore takes deeper into the realms of the drow.

I felt like it was dry at times and hard to listen it but mostly great performance and story. I enjoyed hearing the tales of companions of the hall.
