another amazing book from RA!! the beginning of a new adventure with the comfort of an old one. love our new hero and am very excited to see her grow. RA continues to find fun and exciting ways to explore and build D&D forgotten realms.

Bringing back the old characters

Love when you guys bring back the old characters dive into some of their back stories very good book. Keep them coming.

Breezy oh Breezy

I can only hope we have a group of books telling the adventures of Breezy, I stumbled upon the book and now I’m drawn back into the world of Drizzt and the band of warriors.

Inconsistent recording quality.

Good story, expected performance by Victor, however pauses, breaks and edits mid sentence are very noticeable.

Botched narration

While the story itself was good, I’ll be at somewhat predictable, which is normal for RA Salvatore - the thing that stood out the most was the botched editing and poor narration. This is the same narrator that has done all of the audiobooks in the Drizzt series and he’s normally good. Not this time. There are voice over edits throughout the entire audiobook by another narrator and it sounds terrible. If I said there were 50 of these edits that might be an understatement.

I like the idea of Breezy being from the complete opposite prospective from Drizzt. while still having a good heart.

Good start for a new character amongst the known cast.

Is she going to be a hero or anti hero... Will have to wait and see. She is at least a Chaotic Neutral from Chaotic Good and Neutral Good parents. But influenced in part by Jarlaxle spices things.

The story was amazing and the performance was good but there was an issue with the audio at points. it always worked but it swich pitch at points and became somewhat of a distraction
