What we know for sure—each title that made it to this collection is elevated and made special in some way by audio, whether by a layered performance from a single narrator, a brilliantly cohesive full cast, original music, or immersive sound effects. I am a big fan of Greek mythology and loved, loved hearing it told by Stephen Fry. Stephen Fry is a wonderful narrator and there was rarely a dull moment in this long epic. I highly recommend.

It unfortunately stops short of going on into the heroes such as Perseus, Theseus or Heracles. I hope for a sequel, however unlikely.

Captivating

I love hearing Stephen Fry read! I love Greek mythology. So why is this not 5 stars all the way? This is a book I really need to read. I need the names and locations on the page in order to keep them straight in my head.

It's a bit like all the "begats" in the Bible. Everyone and everything is so intertwined. I couldn't keep it all straight. I'll listen to it again once I also own the e-book and I can highlight/take notes.

Absolutely loved Stephen Fry's wonderful narration of the Greek Myths! I was never that interested in Greek Myths but once I started listening to the magical performance by Stephen Fry I was absolutely blown away! I am now eagerly looking forward to listening to Heroes and Troy as soon as I finish Mythos.

Stephen Fry did an excellent job of research of the Greek Gods. I learned much more than just the average summary explained. I loved his performance. He is an excellent story teller. If you are interested in Greek mythology, than I highly recommend this book.
