Publisher's Summary

The Whiskeys are taking the battle to Portland and setting up shop in Merry Eastwood’s backyard.

They’re not alone. With the support and backing of the shape-shifters, vampires, and other paranormal creatures of the Portland area society - which includes dryads, djinn, dragons, rusalkas, and much, much more - Merry Eastwood should be outmatched.

But that witch is over 200 years old, and she’s seen more than any of them could imagine. When a rash of murders pop up with evidence applied a little too liberally to pin Merry, Paige has a choice to make. Put Merry Eastwood, the most powerful witch their society has seen in centuries, away for murders she didn’t commit.

Or save her family, her society, and the entire Portland area and put her behind iron bars for the murders they can’t tie her to.

What did you love best about Witches of the West?

The Whiskey women have moved back to Portland this time and they are wading their way into the paranormal political world. They are finding extended family but also enemies as well. This just gets better and better as we go.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes.. This book keeps you laughing and making you wonder what's going to happen next.

Which character – as performed by Kalinda Little – was your favorite?

I didn't have one this time. They all were my favorite, especially Rainbow.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when Whiskey went in front of the council at the end to testify against the Eastwood family, even though they are also part of her family they are also enemies and the ones responsible for killing her daughters father and many more bad things.

Any additional comments?
