Incomplete audio book
I listened until chapter 113 then the audio book completely stopped. There was over 33 minutes I couldn’t hear. I tried several ways to finished the story but nothing I was sadden not to be able to finish the story to the conclusion

Nancy Wu is the star
Very good story. The narrator makes it a great story! Nancy Wu is amazing. Her grasp of all the characters was intense. I can’t wait for the next book that she narrates. I will definitely listen to more of Kelly Parsons stories

A Very Rare DNF
I hardly ever fail to finish a book but this story was really not for me and I could not finish the book. To me the story went from slightly improbable to completely farfetched and unbelievable. The author used two plot devices that would not have been out of place in a science fiction novel, but even then failed to explain how one of the devices was implanted without brain surgery.
It starts out quite interesting and has some good twists, but then the science fiction devices come in and the story loses any credibility.
Nancy Wu was excellent with the delivery of the story but she could not save this book for me
