Publisher's Summary

Buenos Aires, 1987. When a beautiful young woman named Lisandra is found dead at the foot of a six-story building, her husband, a psychoanalyst, is immediately arrested for her murder. Convinced of Vittorio's innocence, one of his patients, Eva Maria, is drawn into the investigation seemingly by chance. As she combs through secret recordings of Vittorio's therapy sessions in search of the killer - could it be the powerful government figure? The jealous woman? The musician who's lost his reason to live? - Eva Maria must confront her most painful memories and some of the darkest moments in Argentinean history.

Hooked from the start.

What made the experience of listening to The Case of Lisandra P the most enjoyable?

I got a sense of a woman who would do anything to save Vittorio and that held my attention throughout the story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Case of Lisandra P?

The ending but I don't want to be a spoiler.

What does Tim Andres Pabon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He was a great narrator. I was hooked from the start. His character voices in particular were subtle and nuanced.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A political, psychological thriller.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book.

Excellent narrator, compelling story

Enjoyed the book, even as my sense of dread rose sensing what would happen and why. Captures part of An era of recent Argentine history, many would prefer to forget and the many human challenges one can face in relationships and coping with real life nightmares
