Mystery with a twist at the end

Where does The Booktaker rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is an interesting, quick read that really held my interest.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Booktaker?

I read a lot of police procedurals and this one made me concentrate and think. I liked the end a lot. Ended with action and wit.

What about Nick Sullivan’s performance did you like?

He has a great voice. Many sale books have mediocre narrators but Mr. Sullivan was very easy on the ears.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! It was the best short story or novella that I have listened to in a long time.

I will gladly listen to this author again.

Breath of Fresh Air
I believe there was no charge for this audio book - not sure why but thanks very much; it was a great surprise for this wonderful gift.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Its refreshing to come across an author who really knows how to write- the sentences are creatively and beautifully structured - there is intelligence behind this work which I really appreciated.

What does Nick Sullivan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

You get a glimpse into the mans thinking process as if you are right there with him.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The narrator was brilliant - a joy to the ears.

Not sure when this book was written but if recently then I would have installed secret cameras to catch the thief.
I want to read more by this author and hear more by this narrator ...thank you both!

It was a short listen and who done it listen. Good mini listen for car ride.

Yes, I listened to this book after finishing a lengthy novel. It was a great little story, I found it completely engaging and entertaining!

This was a good narration and a good mystery. I recommend this especially because the setting was a bookstore.

Quick mystery of who dun it.

I liked this, story, I completely forgot that I had this in my library and re-listened to this story. I like stories that make you think of who done it. Nothing to super scary, thrilling yes, but not heart pounding like some others. worth a listen to.

The narrator was OK. A short, old time detective story. No pizzaz. Interesting plot and solution like in the old days.
