    Story
    "Inconsistent and poorly edited"

This was probably the worst I have encountered. Whether you want to blame it on the writer or editor there are several mistakes as you move from one book to the next. Phone calls that resulted in no answer turn into calls answered in the next book when the scene is referenced. Timelines don't match up and they couldn't even get the name of a kidnapped girl correct. Her name completely changed when referenced in the next book. The female lead moves by herself with her daughter in one book but the storyline changes in the next saying she went with daughter and boyfriend. These mistakes were plentiful throughout the entire series. If it is even possible to overlook that, the phrasing is so repetitive. The female lead is constantly saying "I know it" or "I can feel it." You may as well just make her psychic. The only reason I even finished it was to see just how many mistakes in the story existed. It was astounding.
