The NSA thought that it was able to mine any electronic data floating around anywhere in the world, but their sophisticated computers wouldn't even see this. What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Roy Wells is quite possibly the worst narrator I have ever heard. After trying to listen to this book and get into it, I finally had to throw in the towel it was so bad. I finally had to go into the Roy's background to see what otter books he had narrated by clicking on his name and found that in the six pages of porn he had narrated, even they thought he was terrible. I can't figure out how someone of this quality could be narrating any book - I think I deserve a free book from Audible to compensate me for the time I wasted.Sorry, this may not have been your experience but the best recommendation I can give you is to run from this book. The only way to get this to a 4 or 5 star rating is to have someone else narrate.
What was most disappointing about Richard Porter’s story?
No way to tell, I couldn't get over the disconnect between Roy Wells and the story.
Would you be willing to try another one of Roy Wells’s performances?
Not in my lifetime - life is way to short.
Any additional comments?
Lesson learned - listen to the preview, a voice can make all the difference in the book. My bad.
